Doctor Who

So... the finale looks like it's going to be ridiculously mean to us in how it will tease us over the summer. MEANIE MOFFAT!

Also: Ganger-Doc speaks with Tom Baker's voice. The regenerations were relevant. They could've handwaved a Tennant-ganger dagnabit.

Prequel to the Mid-Series Finale...

Looking forward to getting some answers! And seeing the fallout of The Doctor knowing that he's going to die. How the hell are Cybermen even going to fit into all of this.

A Good Man Goes to War.

That could mean both the Doctor and Rory.

And River Song mentions she went to prison after killing a Good Man.

I believe this is Rory.

The Rebel Flesh was a bit of a snooze for me but I really enjoyed The Almost People. Double Doctor! Too much fun. The big M. Night Shyamalan twist ending was crazy and all but it brought up some messiness that I don't think will be explained. (The Doctor gave his sonic screwdriver to his ganger, so where did the one he used on Amy come from? And why was he so quick to destroy ganger Amy after he'd spent an entire episode trying to prove that gangers were real people and didn't deserve to just be cruelly terminated?? (Of course the implication is that Amy was still controlling her ganger and it was not yet a sentient organism like the ones they'd encountered, but the Doctor's initial reaction to the flesh and the big pile of defective gangers under the monastery seemed to imply that it was still living matter that could suffer and feel pain, even experience the pain of its own death while being controlled GAAAAHHHH))

Next week should be good, whatever the hell happens.

This has been pointed out elsewhere on the internet, but we may have seen those mysterious hooded fellows before.......

They are Jedi.

It's official: we are getting a Doctor Who/Star Wars crossover.

The sonic screwdriver with the Ganger Doctor was annoying because there wer two screwdrivers being continually exchanged. I think it's a production error due to all the doubling up.

As for the Amy-ganger; part of the problem with THE REBEL FLESH was that we didn't get what the Doctor wanted. He seemed to know far too much about the flesh, yet to my knowledge this was it's first appearance. So it was confusing due to a lack of motivation, but it was explained in the resolution of THE ALMOST PEOPLE and it makes sense. As for destroying the flesh-Amy, it had to do with blocking the signal, I assume because if the Doctor tries to wage war on the kidnappers the flesh-Amy would tell them everything because they could watch events through her. So he has to disconnect Amy and wake her up so he can mount a rescue unobserved.

Annoyingly, I'm in the US on Saturday and because of stupid memorial day I won't see the ep until I get back on Tuesday (unless we download it). Cannot wait!

That's a stand for the mummy thing.
STANDS THAT MOVE???

Okay, could just be someone walking into the shot but it just seems strangely coincidental that people noticed these supposed figures when the episode aired and now there are mysterious cloaked figures in an episode and dammit, people claimed the future Doctor in Flesh and Stone was just a wardrobe error and they were wrong! Anything can happen!

A Doctor Who/Star Wars/X-Files crossover?!

Moonie has never heard of stands that move before.

Honestly, I don't see it. Which is fine, some people enjoy looking for the most minute clues, I'm not one of them. I let the story tell itself, and make small predictions, which is all you can do at this point.

My new favorite theory about River's identity:

Only one person could ever know the doctors name.
Only one person knows how to pilot the tardis like an expert.
Who else knows everything about the doctor?

The answer here folks is the Doctor.

I guess this is just how time lords masturbate.

I got excited when the River told the Doctor who she was because I thought she was implying that she was actually him. But no, the spoilers I read a while ago were correct:
River Song is Amy and Rory's daughter.
Interesting but too predictable?

I'm hoping The Silence are the ones behind all of this.

One question; how did the evil lady escape? The pirates took over her ship and then she was far away sending a message? Did I miss something?

The best part was the end: "The Doctor will return in LET'S KILL HITLER!"
