Doctor Who

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing the TARDIS.

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but how did 1960's America get a hold of that strange alloy that they imprisoned the Doctor in.

And if it was the densest material in the universe, how did two guys lift it?

I'm guessing the Doctor told Canton how to do it since it was all part of his plan.

Also: MAGIC.

Apparently, there's been some big WHO spoilers particularly about who River Song is.

I'm now terrified of going on the internet. I really cannot emphasis how much I do not want to have that spoiled for me. :panic:

I accidentally read something a few weeks ago that might have been a spoiler but then Steven Moffat dismissed them on Twitter... but then he doesn't really have any other option, does he?

Oh well.

Well, on Moffat's twitter there is an indication that the spoiler is big news i.e. legit. I haven't investigated further because I absolutely do not want to know anything.

Yeah, I've read a couple different supposed spoilers about River's identity...Both were from the same website, a few days apart, and both seemed to make it clear that they were GIGANTIC, HUGE, ABSOLUTELY TRUE SPOILERS, and both completely contradicted each other. So who knows! They were really obvious ones. Like Houde said, they're pretty much what fans have been speculating for ages, and I guess I'd be surprised if Moffat didn't have something way more inventive than that up his sleeve.
I am apparently the one human on Earth immune to the charm of Dr. Who. It could be because I'm also immune to brilliance.
I agree. I love Doctor Who but I've just never been able to get into Dr. Who.

I can't watch the video because the uploader won't let it play in my country. :(

Was anybody else a bit disappointed with Neil Gaimans episode tonight. I enjoyed it (definitely better than space pirates!) but after hearing that it was moved from last season due to budget constraints and that it contained many secrets to the mystery of the Doctor's departure from Gallifrey I suppose my expectations were mega high!

I loved it! I loved how the TARDIS kept calling Doctor "My thief" and how her name was "Sexy". I loved Amy's "Did you wish really, really hard?" It was terrific, and so so so enjoyable. Very happy. I think it's the best of the season so far.

And it had the best cryptic clue: the only water in the forest is the River. What does that mean? Is it relevant that River's first two appearances both involved forests? (The forest that was a library, and the forest with the Weeping Angels.)

But I loved tonight's episode; we saw a side of the Doctor we rarely see, and Idris was so well conceived from the way she talks to the Doctor. And then, there was all the nice little touches like the Corsair who sounds awesome.
