I hate Milla. She's just Karen Page...but blind. And without the former porn star thing. Nothing sets her apart from every single other love interest that Matt's ever had.

Daredevil #95 came out today...

I was unsure about how things would be after Brubaker tidied up countless months and issues of problems for Murdock so quickly, but so far so good.

It starts with Melvin Potter being led away after prison authorities find him in the prison shop with two other inmates having saw blades in their backs, dead, and Potter mumbling, "I didn't do it."

Matt is talking to Milla and says he doesn't want to take the case in order to keep some separation between people associated with DD and himself, to Milla's dismay...but Becky ends up taking the case anyway.

Meanwhile a bizarre incident occurs when a botched robbery ends with the robber killing himself in front of DD...hmmm...

The issue ends with Potter being led through the prison with a guard an another inmate who is taunting him. Potter snaps and apparently kills both the guard and the other inmate. Another cop comes in and Potter says, "I didn't do it..."

Has anything been said about what they are doing for issue #100? If this is a 5 issue arc it might be going out with a bang. Maybe cleaning up Murdock's mess was a short-lived luxury...

The last issues were pretty ****e but #95 is what I'm talking about. MWoF better be happy we're getting some Brubaker written Melvin Potter now.

I am thrilled. This doesn't look like just a mere Melvin Potter reference. I think he's going to take this entire arc. Which would make me feel foolish for my constant bickering for anything less than what Brubaker looks like he's doing here.

I loved this issue. I love Brubaker. I'm slowly being turned into a Daredevil fanboy. This may be my favorite book Marvel is publishing right now.

You must read Bendis and Miller's runs...

So good...

Oh, I already have. I own the Miller-Daredevil Hardcover and am currently collecting all of the TPB's written by Bendis. It's hard to believe that it's the same guy who wrote the Clone saga...

I would say that if it was Mr. Fear that it would probably be like saying that tomorrow the sun will rise. He's by default the first character everyone looks for and is way overdue for an appearance since the other DD characters have been revamped in recent years.

Interesting.

I don't know enough about that character to be able to prove or disprove that, but it makes sense.

There some info, careful though, he really is a convoluted mess for a character that has had so few appearances:

Brubaker will have do a little foot work to make him a viable character

That sounds good. Of course now I'll be slightly disappointed if it is him.

Well the list of people with a grudge against DD, who have the ability to warp people's minds is pretty slim. Its pretty well down to 2 guys, Purple Man or Mr. Fear and Killgrave is in Canada.

Could be Purple Man, though he is supposed to be in Canada. Maybe Bru goofed and Killgrave is in 2 places at once. Though Fear does make more sense, he really seems to hate DD and isn't in Canada. Though Fear is bit a mess as character and people will always compare him to Scarecrow. Bru will have to do some footwork to make him a viable character.

Finally got it. "Remember the Gladiator" - Awesome. I'm pysched for this Melvin Pottercentric arc. I hope he just went bat **** crazy and tears it up.

He didn't "just go crazy", its clear that someone with a talent for warping the human mind is affecting him. Notice how that thug commited suicide in the first issue.

Brubaker said some old forgotten DD villain was behind this current mess, that could lead to an awesome confrontation. The problem with the end of the last arc was when DD confronted the last mastermind, Vanessa Fisk, she was on death's door, so DD couldn't punch her or anything. This thing I want DD to beat the hell out this guy, teach these psychos stop messing with his life. Let's face it, this guy used Karen Page's memory torment DD, he has got to be pissed about that. Or perhaps Melvin could burst in and starts beating this mastermind to death, DD tries to stop him, but Melvin bats him away. at last second, Melvin stops, decides that is not the person he is and hands the villain over to DD. That would be interesting and prove that Melvin truely is a redeemed character.
