Why is that funny?

It was very good. He didn't come in like some kind of stupid assassin killing people for no reason. And yet it still fit his character.

I thought it was the perfect example of Wolverine showing up everywhere. "Hey, I'm Logan. I'm on 4 different teams right now but I'm spending the day meditating in the woods." .....

I thought it was a perfect example of how to use him in something other than the same old cliched appearance while still being true to the character.

Welp, VQ was barely DD related anyway... so on to more pressing matters. Anyone seen the new preview for the upcoming issue? Because Bullseye kicks *** and he hasn't even done anything yet.
 
I'm pretty sure that was posted in the Daredevil news thread, and I've been trying to ignore it like the plague.

Dammit, I hope Joe Q is blowing smoke with this:

NRAMA: "Doombug" - Joe with the new 'Hawkeye' being confirmed, can you tell us where Clint Barton will be during all of this? Maybe a teaser to one of the Civil War books?

JQ: You should be seeing more of Clint by years' end, you never know where he's been but I bet he's been having a devil of a time.
 
That might be kind of cool...although it doesn't make a lot of sense (Hawkeye isn't much of an acrobat, is he?) I trust Brubaker to explain it.

Actually, yeah, the acrobat part makes sense. He trained in a circus/carnival to start and then in a lot of Avengers issues they showed him doing acrobatics as well as practising archery. He could probably do a reasonable imitation of Daredevil if no one looked very close. But he's not a martial artist, not at all.

Also he and DD have NO background together (except fighting over Natasha once), and, in fact, Natasha is his only connection to DD. And I do have a fair amount of faith in Brubaker - if the rumor is true, hopefully Hawkeye (Clint, whoever) won't get the "Grifter" treatment from Point Blank, though.

Gah. If Clint has been the fake Daredevil this whole time, that sucks. Hawkeye doesn't suit the kind of guy who would dress up as a devil for a guy he hardly knows.

After having read that my expectation that the fake Daredevil is Clint Barton just went up 10% (it also went up 10% when I saw the picture of Daredevil with the coin so now it's at 70% :wink: ).

I don't get the coin thing, i've never seen hawkeye (or clint) with a coin before?

I'm not a DD fan, and even I'm disappointed. Even if it is Clint (and that is a big even, Queseda thinks he is pretty funny), I'll be annoyed. It's a stupid letdown. I'd rather have D-Man be Daredevil.
