I don't have a problem with it. I don't know if it is or isn't... but what gives the right for all of the other heroes to do what they do in that world.

I'm not speaking morally, I was wondering in legal terms is vigilantism illegal? As in for a person to take the law into their own hands?

I just read 82 and wow. It doesn't skip a beat. It feels like it's right where it left off. I did not see that coming with Foggy. That was so sad....

I wonder who the other Daredevil is?

A+

What a ****in' sight. Foggy's funeral (Get over it. It's not a spoiler anymore) from Ben Urich's point of view. Matt's there, cuffed and guarded. Rosalind Sharpe, Foggy's mother, is there. Luke, Danny, Jessica, Ben, and Milla are there. Milla stands in the distance where she doesn't come into any contact with Matt but he still knows she's there.

As the funeral ends, Matt's lead away. Jessica tries to communicate with him but the guards hold her back. This gets Cage mad and Danny Rand tries to calm him down. While this is going on Rosalind comes up to Matt and blames him for his sons murder...

We then get dialogueless pages of Matt in Jail punching his cell wall. The guards lead a black blind man into his cell. We then see Matt sitting in a regular (non solitare cell) and Owl comes up to him. Then we see the trial where Matt sits with Betty Blake.

Conclusions: Foggy is dead as a door nail. Milla hasn't left Matt yet. Matt is moved to gen pop.

Just a quick side-note...

I wasn't familiar with Tarantula prior to this current arc. Now that I've seen what he looks like in costume, I'm damn glad.

I would honestly find it difficult to take him seriously, no matter how sleazy/menacing Brubaker and Hine make him out to be, if I were aware of how he looked, beyond the prison walls.

Did anybody else here actually regard him as anything greater than a B-lister (at most), before this story?

 No. Well, not speaking for everyone else, I knew he was C-List.

But what's the point? It's just there way of giving a nod to villains that are otherwise in limbo. I thought it was a cool cameo and very appropriate considering his ethnicity and the conversation.

Wrong character.

Wow.

I never read Daredevil comics before. They just never interested me. Plus I was way behind and would never be able to catch up. But last week I had some extra store credit and remembered reading that Daredevil was starting a new arc with #82 and with a new writer. I figured now was the best time to check it out. So I wikipedia'd the previous story and read #82.

Wow.

Damn you MWoF for not telling me in my Suggestion thread that I should be reading this!!!!! :x Great storytelling...not too keen on the art...but it fits the mood. This is now going on the pull list.

Next you'll tell me I should be reading Cable/Deadpool....

 Still gotta give credit to Bendis' run too though. This is a great jump on point but Bendis got the ball rolling.

Bendis' run is one of the greatest stories ever. And Bubaker as not missed a beat. I was in horror at Foggy's death. And yes you should read Cable/Deadpool. It's hilarous.

That's what I hear. Are there trades out from his run? I think his run started at issue #25 (or something like that) ....
