Batman: The Brave and the Bold (series discussion)

Re: New Batman Animated Series to Air on Cartoon Network

Despite the small level of amusement I get from the show, I endorse this statement that the money spent would've been better spent on a serious Batman show.

I'll even go as far as saying I prefer The Batman to this.
How dare you.

Loser.

Anyhow, I still love this show, but the Etrigan episode was bollocks. He's always bollocks. The whole Morgana le Fay schtick is awful in every DC thing I've seen it in. It's always boring and rubbish. The nice things that crop up in them (kiddy JLA, Green Arrow and Batman's rivalry) have nothing to do with Etrigan and Morgana and can be supplanted into almost any show. I'm so bored of it.

That said, I've really enjoyed the rest of the episodes. Wildcat was great fun. Red Tornado was wonderful. And the Grodd episode was hysterical.

Yeah, I'd wish they'd stayed with the Green Lantern Corps.

Oh yeah. I just went there.

Bah!

Until you stop putting the letter "u" in words like "color" or "favorite", I refuse to acknowledge your "oh so blatantly wrong" opinion.

I like Etrigan, if only because you have to be a decent writer to get his speech right.

And he's the only person I know of who's been able to rhyme orange.

Re: New Batman Animated Series to Air on Cartoon Network

I liked the Deadman episode! The Colin and Tom Baker reference was bizarre, and Speedy's Robin reference was cool too.

But Gentleman Ghost rocked the hizzouse. :D

YesyesyesyesYES!

Re: New Batman Animated Series to Air on Cartoon Network

Platelet!

Platelet was a man!

Platelet was a heart cell man!

Maybe he was just a heart cell!

But he was still PLATELEEEEEEEET!

Re: New Batman Animated Series to Air on Cartoon Network

This is one of the best shows on television right now. Now next week we get to see Batman USING A GREEN LANTERN RING FFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

So, this is the best show ever.

Journey to the Center of the Bat takes a dull, cliched plot of "travel into the bloodstream to cure someone" and turns it into gold.

First, we get an Asian Atom who is fine, but his team-up with Aquaman is priceless.

I have never liked Aquaman. This cartoon has me loving him. Because he is a toblerone. Because he needs to be portrayed by Brian Blessed. Aquaman's voice spontaneously causes echoes. I LOVE HIM.

And then there's PLATELET! Who was super cute awesome and I am sad.

AND!!! Batman is fighting a titanic chemical monster called CHEMO! It's so much fun.

But, just when I thought I had this episode down... Batman goes, "I wonder who is behind all this?" and I thought (since I've been watching the JLU Cadmus arc), "It would be cool to have a myster..." and then BAM!

THE MUTHA****ING BRAIN.

With a FRENCH accent!

I laughed so hard.

Batman beats him by accidentally falling on top of him.

This is so gorram brilliant.

I love the Brain. And I love Aquaman. And Atom. And Batman. And Chemo. And Platelet.

*hugs the triple B*

Yes!

And we're getting a two-parter where he teams up with Owlman! Yay!

I also liked that episode.

Okay, okay... I was wrong, this is amazing.

It has no right to be good, but it is exactly what it needs to be.

Okay.

Okay okay okay.

Batman gets put in willpower armour and fights a villain controlling a sentient planet.

Oh yes. Yes yes yes.

Sinestro was fantastic. I loved the voice actor. First Green Lantern story I've liked.

But most importantly, I loved the Cavalier. "Somewhere, Shakespeare is spinning in his grave."

I feel like that kid in THE INCREDIBLES who, at the end, is on his tricycle and just seen their house blow up and he yells, "THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!!!"

I'm hyperventilating. I love this show so much.

Unless... by 'hobby', you meant 'gorgeous woman'.

Then. I agree too. Find me one. This I command.

I have found a woman for Bass!

Get it? She's blind so that's the only way a woman would date you. I'm calling you ugly and mocking a serious disability that will forever haunt that woman's life. In one post!

:lol::lol: Blind people *wipes a tear from laughing too hard* hilarious
