Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

has this changed eddie back into venom ? or not  I'm almost starting to give up hope
NO!!!

They killed him, ok? Eddie Brock was never Venom in BND. He got hit by a bus before he ever merged with the symbiote. Watcher was there to save him, but decided against it due to his complete lack of blouse bunnies. Scarlet Witch Chanted "NO MORE VENOMS!" Superboy-Prime punched the Marvel wall and he disappeared from existance. He's done. Over. Finito. Gone Forevers!

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

Whats it called when you use two words together that mean the same thing or something? Either way, they used "Illegal Vigilante" incorrectly. Vigilatism is already illegal, so it's incorrect/pointless to say "illegal vigilante".

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

It's called tautology or some such.

(at Proj's post)

(I'm still glad they did ONE MORE DAY.)

~___~

Don't thank me.

Tautology
1. needless repetition of an idea, esp. in words other than those of the immediate context, without imparting additional force or clearness, as in "widow woman."
2. an instance of such repetition.

EXCUSE ME I HAVE SOMETHING IN MY EYE!

From now on if people post something they should post to let people know about it.

And just to be safe it might not hurt to post about the post about the post as well.

Back to the topic - check out LitG this week - he talks about this and has the Watchmen/OMD mashup as well as a hilarious link to the Marvel.com boards telling people to stop insulting JQ over One More Day.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I just logged in especially for this... because I want someone to explain to me how One More Day makes sense. Because as far as I can tell, it doesn't. Quesada has used magic to explain it. But someone tell me using normal logic. Every time I think of One More Day, I swear and scream at random people because I don't understand how it works... WHAT THE **** WHAT THE **** WHAT THE ****.

It doesn't.

Well on some level, it does.

IMO, it's a series of decent premises answered by nothing but mistakes.

Not to toot my own horn, but look back a page or two and I have a more detailed point by point explanation of why I feel this is so.
