Brand New Day makes no continuity sense whatsoever.

So now Harry is alive, May is alive and Pete is single and the rest of the Marvel Universe went back to the way things they were but didn't but what huh?

Actually, he came back in the end of ONE MORE DAY. It was just explained why he's alive in Amazing Spider-Man #581.
