Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

i dunno, the full facial mask thing doesn't translate to the bigscreen really well...you can't see emotion. That's why Spidey was getting his mask torn off every other scene in the Spider-Man movies.

My guess: Deadpool's face will get scarred at the end of the movie (like in the last fight scene) and at the end it will show him putting on a mask.

Don't care

you don't **** with Deadpool, Bendis learned that the hard way in his ****acular Ultimate Deadpool arc.

I thought the scars came from the healing factor and cancer and all the other stuff the Weapon X program did to him.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

CBR:

Actor/producer Hugh Jackman sent an email to Ain't It Cool News about what was up with those reshoots along with a new promotional photo from the film showing Sabretooth, Silver Fox, Gambit and Deadpool. Jackman wrote, "I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes."

Speaking of Sabretooth, actor Liev Schreiber talked to MTV about some of why he wanted to get in touch with his savage side. "When everyone said they were shocked that I wanted to be a mutant in the new X-Men movie, I was not surprised at all, and would do it over and over again," Schreiber said. "The only hard part is all the exercise."

Forgot the mask, the big question is, will Deadpoll be goofy and funny in the film, like he is the comics?

I believe that's why they chose Reynolds, because he could deliver the lines like Deadpool. But even then, I'm kind of wary of what they'll have him say.

That's kinda why they picked Reynolds.

Now will break the 4th wall? That's the question.

That's what I was wondering. Just a small nod to it would suffice. Like kind've give him this crazy edge and then he says something looking in an off direction and Wolverine or someone being like "Who are you talking too?" DP: "What?"

But I want mask squinting.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

According to IESB, the additional shoots have given more screen time to Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool, emphasizing additional interactions with Wolverine.

We are told Ryan Reynolds was busy a guy in Vancouver during the extra time the production spent there shooting some added footage for his Deadpool character! Apparently most of the footage shot included Reynolds and Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman.

This isn't your mother's cameo...Deadpool is full on! Reynolds will appear in the film even more than originally planned!
More from link above.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

Setting up for a possible Deadpool spin-off...?
Something they had planned to do before, which I assume why they're doing more shots of him.

Just hopefully it all works out for the best. We'll see in a few months...

Exactly. Which seems to indicate that at least the producer's are supportive of Reynolds as Deadpool...enough so to write new scenes or expand existing ones to include more of him.

I'm very curious how Reynolds will portray DP...I'm hoping it doesn't come off as Van Wilder with a gun.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

I wasn't too excited for this at first...but after seeing the trailer several times---I'm actually looking forward to this.

And being a Friday Night Lights fan, I'm excited to see how Gambit works out.

I'd rather it was than comic deadpool. After I read Ultimate Spider-man with deadpool in and thought "thats pretty cool" people on here said read 616 deadpool. I did and the character irritates the **** out of me, I loved the hulk vs films but even in hulk vs Wolverine he was annoying as hell. He's like Marvel's Jar Jar binks. That's how annoying I find him.

Van Wilder was entertaining and funny.

This is just my opinion though. The one I'm most looking forward to seeing in this besides Wolverine himself is Gambit, Shame he wasn't in the X-men movies. We could have had Gambit/Rogue pair up, maybe in third film so Rogue gets Gambit and Iceman gets Kitty.

I think your opinion is in the vast minority though, most fans love 616 Deadpool and think Ultimate Deadpool sucks.

:sure: Your opinion is wrong.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

I actually agree with Mole here. I don't like either Deadpool. I find him annoying and in the last handful of years Deadpool's gotten this weird cult status for being a rather annoying character.

Classic Tombo!

Real glad the first reaction to that wasn't a scolding. Thanks for making me feel welcomed and recognized Houde.

But he's the Family Guy and Scrubs of the MU.

Who cares? The majority of fans like 616 Deadpool and Deadpool is in this movie, so what should the movie do, please the majority of fans who like 616 Deadpool or the small minority who don't like him?

The fact is Deadpool is in the movie and in all likelyhood, he will be 616 Deadpool.
