CBR:

USA Today published a new production still (See below) from the spin-off, as well as words from actor Hugh Jackman himself, who said Sabretooth "is going to play a big part in it. And there will be a good bit of cameos ... But you can't give too much away, because fans are pretty hard-core. Their expectations go up a level every time you come out with a new film."

Hugh Jackman does Wolverine perfectly

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

but Jackman appears to be in better shape than any of the X-films put together.

he'd have to be. If this is a prequel logically Wolverine would be in his prime so to speak as X-men 1 he was guy who just drank at a bar and had some fights for money before joining team. X-men 2 and 3 he had settled down at the mansion.

This will be the wolverine was more like a solider and more ruthless and animal like.

Should kick *** and cool photo Ice

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

Good photo. The claws looks pretty CGI there but Jackman appears to be in better shape than any of the X-films put together.
Actually I thought they look painted on --- like a Frank Frazetta painting --- than being CGI.

Actually the whole damn picture looks like a fantasy novel painting. In the best way possible.

Yeah, I thought about this too. Especially his fists.

I like that about today's tech, though. Photography can be seamlessly blended with digital painting and CGI to let you create a surreally perfect redition of what you pictured, to an extent that wasn't possible before.

That's an excellent way of putting it. And it's so true, but also awesome when done right.

Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine News.

It looks like he's about to take a really huge crap in that picture.

First up, and this part gets spoilerish, comes news from FilmSchoolRejects.com that we might be seeing The Blob in the film:

We got a note from someone who was on set this week while they shot test footage of an actor in a huge rubber suit for The Blob. The interesting part is that they made the suit to look like The Blob was about 800lbs, but producers want to make him bigger, something like 1200lbs. I did some research (as I am not too familiar with The Blob's history) and I found that he was around 500lbs. originally.

Also, IESB is now saying that the role of Silver Fox has not gone to Maggie Q or Michelle Monaghan. Instead, expect fellow Texan Lynn Collins (filmography) in the role.

Added spoiler as it mentioned it's spoiler but cool about those two charracters

JoBlo.com is reporting that Danny Huston will play William Stryker in the prequel.

Finally, there are spoilers from Film School Rejects about another villain Logan will encounter, while IESB claims that actress Lynn Collins will play Silver Fox.
