Jessica and Johnny kissed offpanel!? :arrgh: I smell a retcon coming and I'm not happy about it.

Also, Kong is going to flip the f*ck out next issue. He likes mutants, is in love with Kitty and the way he dresses nowadays suggests he might have some issues with authority. He's is going to go f*cking postal. He's already trying to kill them with his mind on the last page.

Yeah. Spidey is totally going to confront her and she'll tell him Johnny exaggerated. And after that it'll never get mentioned again. Which pisses me off, because I still want them to date. Also, Tandy is gonna play a role in the upcoming arc. Will she be:

A) the b*tchy schoolpresident who will overcome her mutant hatred to help a fellow student
B) the die-hard mutanthater that discovers she is, in fact, a mutant herself
C) the new in-school villain that the gang have to keep from knowing Peters secret identity lest he'll get expelled!
D) the one to lead the school trip to the Roxxon experimental drug factory downtown?

It could go anywhere at this point, but I'm guessing A!

Agreed, great issue. Has me really excited to see where this arc goes. And I love how Bendis is balancing all the teen supers living under one roof.

I haven't been this excited about USM since the Double Trouble arc.

Did anyone else who picked up #11 find it a little disappointing? The character interaction was par for the USM course but the new villain and the journalism plot came off as kinda stale to me.

I kind of liked it. I can see where you're going with this. But it is the first issue of the story. So I reserve my judgments until after the story has been told.
