Let's not get into this lost cause. I still say that either Brad Pitt or Kevin McKidd would be the ideal versions for the character. But the whole thing about HHH being Thor is that I don't think he's right for the role until he's proven himself in an actual acting oppurtunity. But that's my only qualm so far.

You know I was thinking about what would happen in the movie and the biggest thing I can picture in my head is Loki ranting and raving in front of a chained up Thor after he's ceased control of Asgard. Loki would be cursing Odin and the rest of the gods while explaining to Thor his purpose of being. Loki is putting down Thor's savage form of violence that gives him all of the adoration that Loki had evaded. Thor would give him a remark about him not being a 'true' god of Asgard and how he'll never earn Odin's love. I can also see Loki going ballistic and wailing away at Thor screaming at him to shut up. Of course you would need an actor with enough range to pull off the intensity of the scene. Johnny Depp could work.

Thank you. Everyone wants a pretty boy but I don't think it ever says anywhere in Mythology that Thor was stunningly beautiful. And the way Hitch drew him, I thought of Bean the entire time. And just plain props because the man is a great actor.
