Eh, I don't know that picture makes it look kind of rubber like. It should be more metal norse armor, it just be the lighting. I do like the design though and I'm damn glad their not having him clean shaven. I hope he loses the cape for the Avengers too.

I would have to imagine that he'll wear different wardrobes throughout the movie. That promo/teaser is showing him in one of his iconic costumes from the comics.

It looks like a high quality toy with the actor's face photoshoped on. I love the design their going with just not the texture

I was wondering the same thing. I don't really have a problem with it - it does look cool. But I'm not sure the point.

Was it ever used in the comics before the JMS/Coipel run? I don't think I ever saw it before that.
