Which gives me plenty of gleeful hope for the lynchpin of their proposed Avengers franchise, Capt America.

You already have a superb Iron Man....Thor is shaping up to be top-notch....so rounding out their Holy Trinity is Cap. And I KNOW their is no way Marvel is gonna drop the ball on that.

This just in! Uwe Bole set to direct Captain American and Bret Rattner making his acting debut as Steve Rogers!

I don't even remember him being cast. There have been way too many casting announcements.

This movie should be Thor vs. Stringer Bell.

Stan Lee talks about being on the set via Twitter:

There are pictures of

It looks like something out of Power Rangers. :(

I'm going to spoiler up for this:y
I honestly feel like anything Jack Kirby ever made would come out this way on film. His creative energy was made for comics, and I feel like other mediums are always going to come off as cheesy. Look at the FF film for example. What were we actually expecting Galactus to be? Film is just a step too realistic for Mr. Kirby's creations to be taken seriously. Just my opinion.

I think that's more the picture, it will probably look better on screen. Though I think they should have added Norse style armour

Personally I think Galactus could work, you just have to make him look like an Aztec god, instead of smooth colorful metal have more of a desaturated rock look. It's just a matter of working with the texture and color to make it work. But the basic designs have tons of potentials, you just gotta know how to adapt it.
