We've got to find out from Millar what was intended by the W on the costume. There no way he thought, "Well something should go across his chest. Yeah, maybe a letter. You know a W would fit rather nicely. Yeah, I'll slap a W on his chest. That'll look cool." At least I hope it was more complex than that.
