Nah. Great CD but...
Illmatic takes it.
Gonna have to agree. First album ever to have legitimately gained 5 mics and probably the last one at that.
Truth.
I'm an ATL boy, so I grew up on Outkast and love that funk influenced sound more than anything. But Illmatic was fresh. And Nas' lyricism is just nuts.
Same here except I grew up on DJ Screw and Swishahouse. Burned one to Cypress Hill on occassion. Then I found Stillmatic, backtracked and fell in love with Illmatic.
I was more of a rock 'n roll guy growing up, but I bumped Witchdoctor and Goodie Mob and Dre. And Cypress Hill was great. I don't care what anyone says.
I have it and would be glad to email it to you. However, I rip all of my music to 128 kbps MP4 format. If this is not a problem, PM me your email address and I'll send it along.
It's the first time.
Lucky chap.
The stuff from Death Magnetic works very well in with the classic stuff live (unlike the St Anger stuff) Broken, Beat and Scarred is a fantastic live track.
Are you seeing them inside in an arena? or open air?
Does anybody here like The Pixies?

I think everybody here likes the Pixies.
They better say they do, anyway. Or I'm going over there and kicking their asses.
