The Music Thread : It's So Easy To Fly Through A Window

Gonna have to agree. First album ever to have legitimately gained 5 mics and probably the last one at that.

Truth.

I'm an ATL boy, so I grew up on Outkast and love that funk influenced sound more than anything. But Illmatic was fresh. And Nas' lyricism is just nuts.

Same here except I grew up on DJ Screw and Swishahouse. Burned one to Cypress Hill on occassion. Then I found Stillmatic, backtracked and fell in love with Illmatic.

I was more of a rock 'n roll guy growing up, but I bumped Witchdoctor and Goodie Mob and Dre. And Cypress Hill was great. I don't care what anyone says.

36 Chambers is unfortunately the only Wu-Tang I have yet to hear.

I have been working my way through all of Ghostface's albums lately though. Fishscale and Supreme Clientele are pretty incredible.

I have it and would be glad to email it to you. However, I rip all of my music to 128 kbps MP4 format. If this is not a problem, PM me your email address and I'll send it along.

Nah, forget it I appreciate it though. I managed to find it by downloading The "Brave New World" album off teh interwebs. Guess just looking for the song by itself was what was screwing me.

Thanks anyway though.

Does anybody here like The Pixies?

I'm aware of them, but they have left no impact on me whatsoever.
