The All-About Video Games thread

You know, I'm kinda mixed about the firearms. On the one hand, I know I'm a great marksman, especially in video games (remember boys, aim small miss small) but there were times when I couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. and then immediately after, three headshots in a row! Then I read an article where the devs stated they did it on purpose to add to the chaos of the story and environment. And going in knowing that, it makes sense and it creates this crazy awesome vibe like I'm stuck in a John Woo shootout. I heard the multiplayer mechanics handle differently but I have yet to play it.

Yeah, the multiplayer engine handles firearms in a straight forward kind of way. You point at it, you're going to hit it. Shooting full auto creates lift, headshots put you down, no matter how armored you are.

Rumor: Is Rocksteady Studios' next game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Manhattan Crisis!?

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Manhattan Crisis is the alleged name of the title.
- Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are the four playable characters, each with their own varied move set and weapon of choice (sword, bo staff, sai, and nunchucku…respectively).
- Flashbacks are played as Master Splinter/Hamato Yoshi.
- Shurikens, smoke bombs, grappling hooks, and climbing foot spikes.
- Gameplay and story/stage progression similar to Batman: Arkham City.
- Classic characters such as Bebop and Rocksteady (warthog and rhinoceros), Dr. Baxter Stockman, Shredder (Oroku Saki), and Krang act as bosses and in the case of the humans-turned-mutants, you fight them in both forms throughout the story.
- The Turtle Van and Turtle Blimp will be present and with them and other gadgets, the Wii U build is expected to have touch screen controls for specific actions.
- Multiplayer is unknown.
- Graphics engine used is that of Arkham City.
- The game is expected to be more dark than slapstick, but the turtles themselves and their interactions with the Foot Clan, bosses, and story characters like April O'Neil and Casey Jones will still have comedy attached.
- Purportedly being in development for Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
- Careful selection of voice actors to bring the universe to life as well as Rocksteady did with their two Batman games.
- Manhattan Crisis shares a similar name to the 1991/1992 NES title, "The Manhattan Project", but is very much its own title.

I was watching this the other day. I don't know about y'all but I love watching these live streams. Ice you so lucky to be in the area for some of these. This clip is from Curleh Mustache #2 (held anually) hosted by Team Spooky. Namely IFC Yipes, some cat from Bronx? or Brooklyn, I'm not too sure. Anyway, this clip is of AlukardNY and AG|MarlinPie and is full of awesome.

Just in case you get lost, this is an exhibition match and a first to 5, meaning first person to win 5 rounds, wins the match and bragging rights. Also, it's very rare anyone ever uses iron man so for me it was quite a treat as everyone seems to flock to Doom and Wesker among others.

Also, don't know if many of you keep up with FGC, but Capcom is currently doing a tournament/competition show Street Fighter X Tekken called Cross Assault. They take submissions for players for each team. One team reps SF while the other reps Tekken. Check this one out by Austin's own, Fubarduck who has one of the funniest and competent submissions yet. Please comment and like as that helps to earn him a spot on Team Street Fighter.

This reminds me, I was looking at Skylanders the other day, and all I could think was "Imagine if Nintendo had thought of this first, and actually made a peripheral based Pokemon game". I think that alone would save the Wii, I mean, just looking at how hard it is to keep the core box and the booster packs in stock, it would have made Nintendo made millions.

Yesterday, we reported on rumors that a LittleBigPlanet kart racer was coming to PlayStation 3. These rumors hailed from a Tweet from Canada-based FutureShop, which was in attendance at Sony's Destination PlayStation retailer event.

Today, an image has surfaced on the Internet that essentially confirms the game's existence

Please be real and please use the LBP dlc we have bought. E.g racing as Sonic , Staypuft , Kratos , solid snake , spider-man , buzz lightyear and more

on the badass tmnt games

"A rumor swirling around a few weeks ago pegged Rocksteady Games as the developers
on a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. Rocksteady chief Sefton Hill told Kotaku that, while the rumor was amusing, they're doing no such thing."

Actually, it's now being reported that it's Activision that his working on a TMNT game. Wether or not it's the same as the description previously mentioned is yet to be said. Activision has yet to officially announce the game.

Can't wait for Gravity Rush. It looks like a quirky little platformer for the Vita.

Also, I've started back into PC gaming. I forgot how stuff generally looks better on PC (example; Skyrim).

The schedule, for those who will watch E3:
