also is 17.25 a good deal for the Watchmen trade?, my local HMV is selling it for 25% off canadian cover price (22.99), it's the same exact edition you can get at like a Chapters or something. It looks really cheap and flimsy though, the cover is about as thin as a magazine cover, and the paper quality looks real cheap.

Ok....if you've been reading comics, you may have heard of this little event called Secret Invasion.

And with that lil event you may have seen some Avenger tie-ins. They've been drawn by Marko Djurdjevic.

There is no way anyone can say they've seen better covers in comics these past 2 years than what he's been drawing.

I would sincerely buy a book with only covers done by him. I never actually met/talked to him at NYCC, but I did take a picture as he was on his cell/smoking outside.

Did he know you were taking his pic? Because unless you're a govt agent and surveilling him in the name of national security......I believe NY calls that "stalking".

but I do hate that his and Aleksi Briclot's talents are being completley wasted on those Avengers covers

seriously these guys are brilliant and they're redrawing old covers and just giving everyone green chins.

it's a waste
