That Thread About Work: "Custom kitchen deliveries...!"

Cross your fingers, might have just gotten a job at Chipotle.

I just ate there at lunch today.

Florida is a bit of a haul for me but maybe you can put in a good word for me at all metro-Detroit area locations?

I love how people get all pissy and what-not when you don't get up and volunteer for something, even though you're not on the clock, when they themselves do the same damn thing.

Yeah, I hate when that happens here when the next shift asks for an employee to do overtime. Sometimes I don't mind since here it's required by law that you must have at least 12 hours between each of your scheduled shifts. So if I were to do OT then i get the next day off essentially since i just pulled a 16 hour shift. But you get those days where even the more reliable guys don't want to pull OT and then it becomes mandatory and the older dogs are usually on the top of that pull list. And if they get the short stick, it's all *****ing the next you see them.

I get everybody wants to go home; even if you love your job, you don't want to stay there doing it 24/7. I still don't get why they would get mad at you for not volunteering though.

Well I am officially looking for a job now. Does anybody have any help tips, places, sites to look for a job opening?
