Slasherverse - Timeline

So, the vague references then.

-Stage Fright
-Madman
-The Burning
-Leprechaun (connects to Night of the Demons)
-Jack Chop (I have no idea how, but crossover universe wiki states Hatchet references it)
-Digging Up the Marrow

Any other movies?

Speaking of Digging Up the Marrow, the in-universe Adam Green had written stories about Victor Crowley that are known of in 2099 in the Halloween Tales comic book.

I think I've added an outline of everything except Darkman right now, and I suppose some of the loosely connected stuff too.

So, Suitable Flesh:
-Miskatonic University is the same as the Re-Animator film series.
-Daniella Upton was supposed to be confirmed to be the same character that Barbara Crampton played in From Beyond, named Katherine McMichaels, but due to rights issues this didn't explicitly happen.
-Sean Crawley from King of the Ants appears, still portrayed by Chris McKenna.

So, yeah. I'm pretty confident in those inclusions definitely. It's somewhat of a Lovecraft shared universe within the Slasherverse, firmly connected by Evil Dead and Hack/Slash (though the former also contradicts it, lol).

I never saw From Beyond before now, but it's pretty great.

If you ignore the fact that Ash knows about the film Gravity in "Ash in Space", Necronomicon Rising works pretty well as a sequel to the Ash and the Army of Darkness timeline, since Ash went to multiple different time periods in those comics.

So, we can assume that after Ash changed time in the main Dynamite series, he experienced that timeline instead of going back to the cabin and sending himself back in time in Ashes 2 Ashes. Necronomicon Rising is definitely 1987-1988 since West is new to Miskatonic University in Re-Animator and imprisoned at the end of Bride of Re-Animator, so once again helps reaffirm the Evil Dead movie timeline and retcon Ash's age given by the comics.

It's possible that the main Dynamite timeline contradicts 1300 events from AatAoD, but that could be explained by more off-screen events so not too worried about that. Things seem to be working out pretty much perfectly.

I guess it's possible that Herbert West is the same guy. I skimmed through some of his Dynamite appearances and he doesn't seem to reference specifics from Army of Darkness vs Re-Animator (2005), which is supposed to be an alternate timeline anyway. I hope so, anyway. It'd be nice to remove that continuity error. Funny that West ends up in the 1900s twice in two different Evil Dead crossovers.

Updated the Viewing Order. That's a lot of media.

I'm gonna create a temporary Hack/Slash timeline so that I can try and stretch it out to match with the Eva and Evil Dead crossovers. If not, then I'll say time travel is the answer, cop out as that is.

I was gonna use a framework that looks like this. Is there any major issues with this?

Seems about right to me

Great! And thanks for your help on Hack/Slash by the way. It's made things so much more manageable.

I know there's a billion comic crossovers with Evil Dead and Hack/Slash. I can't really comment on adding all of Dynamite, all of Top Cow, some of Image, The Crow, Nailbiter, etc., so I'm just going to ignore all that. Maybe I'll add some things, I don't know.

Prophecy and Swords of Sorrow are the worst of it, crossover-wise. I think Swords of Sorrow has a spin-off suggesting Danger Girl is a separate universe, and I've included the Evil Dead crossover with Danger Girl here. AH! Well, in the Marvel Multiverse (Marvel Zombies is here), alternate timelines and alternate universes are the same thing, so in theory it could be the same Ash Williams while Danger Girl is a separate universe. Then again... I'd only be including Swords of Sorrow because Eva is in it and she originated from Army of Darkness so does it matter?

I heard from a big Dynamite fan that the other Dynamite Entertainment comics are apparently not Canon to the Hack/Slash universe although similar events did happen in this universe.

As for the Crow I just added the movies to keep things simple.

The Nailbiter Timeline is pretty simple actually, #1-30 take place in 2014 with the last part of #30 taking place in 2015 and Nailbiter Returns taking place after the last part of #30

Mercy Sparx #0 takes place in '08
With Mercy Sparx Year One #1-4 taking place shortly after. Mercy Sparx #1-4 takes place in 2009 and Mercy Sparx Vol 2 takes place after the H/S crossover

I can't imagine why. Probably Herbert West, that's the only contradiction I can think of. There's three crossovers though, Eva, Army of Darkness and Vampirella.

I suppose. I feel like the intention would be the comics version, but it probably doesn't matter since I think it's a different Crow but I could be remembering wrong.

Nailbiter and Mercy Sparx. That simplifies things.

In Amityville 4, while the priest does say that he had known of evil in Amityville for a dozen (12) years, a newspaper story matches with February 22nd, 1989 so I'd disagree with Movie Timelines using the 1986 placement.

I'm also starting to disagree with Amityville 3-D taking place after 4. I think the house just rebuilt itself with magic, especially since we see it in Chucky. I mean, it did rebuild the damage from the first film such as the basement stairs and pipes.

The Evil Dead (2008) comic suggests that the first film was a dream that happened before the second film's Intro, but I suppose it could support the idea that Evil Dead 2's Intro was a dream/hallucination that happened as Ash was hit by the unseen force. This is just speculation though, and I currently have Evil Dead 2's Intro as an alternate timeline, possibly one that leads into Evil Dead 2's ending, which lead into the Vampirella crossover.
