Slasherverse - Timeline

He confirms that the book in Suitable Flesh is the Necronomicon. So, how many copies?

1. The Evil Dead
2. Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings
3. Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday
4. Evil Dead
5. Evil Dead Rise
6. Suitable Flesh

Jokes aside, there's probably tons more Necronomicons than six when you consider all the comics.

Let's just take a step back and... acknowledge the situation.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Black Christmas (1974)
The Toolbox Murders (1978)
Halloween (1978)
Amityville (1979)
Friday the 13th (1980)
Evil Dead (1981)
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
R-Animator (1985)
Hellraiser (1987)
Pumpkinhead (1988)
Child's Play (1988)
Shocker (1989)
Darkman (1990)
Hercules (1995)
(I'm not including this, sorry)
Xena (1995) (I'm not including this, sorry)
Bubba Ho-Tep (2002)
Hack/Slash (2004)
Re-Animator (Dynamite) (2005)
Eva (2006)
Leslie Vernon (2006)
Hatchet (2006)
Frozen (2011)
Stitches (2012)

That's without getting into all the different references in Hack/Slash. I mean, Cassie said she dealt with the Leprechaun once. Was it a Leprechaun from the same species as the film series? ...Probably? It gets confusing from here.
Are there any other franchises being added to the mix?

So, with how many Evil Dead timelines are we dealing right now?
Evil Dead 2 Intro (possibly non-existent)
Evil Dead 2 Ending, Vampirella/Army of Darkness
KISS 1979 Timeline
KISS 1300 Timeline
AoD Director's Cut Timeline
Ashes 2 Ashes Timeline
Alternate 2501 Timeline
AatAoD Timeline
Alternate 3404 Timeline
Ruby 1982 Timeline
Furious Road Timeline

I think that's it.

Potentially:
-The Burning (Hack/Slash shows killer)
-Madman (Hack/Slash shows killer)
-Cujo (Hack/Slash shows killer?)
-Stage Fright (Hack/Slash shows killer)
-Night of the Demons (Father Bob appears in Leprechaun 3)
-Leprechaun (Cassie Hack references defeating a Leprechaun killer)
-Digging Up the Marrow (Victor Crowley references events)

Probably not:
The Crow (Hack/Slash Crossover; Continuity Unknown)
Spawn (Hack/Slash shows character; probably variant)

Cujo also connects to the original pet sematary and Cat's eye. Cat's eye connects to Christine and Christine connects to the IT movies

Chucky is also mentioned in one of the Leprechaun films and was meant to have a crossover at one point.

Could you elaborate? I assumed all Stephen King adaptations were generally separate from each other. If we're doing that though, wouldn't The Shining, Castle Rock (TV Series) and The Shawshank Redemption be in there? Oh, Castle Rock also acts as a modern day prequel to Misery (somehow). Oh, The Dark Tower references Pennywise I believe.

Christine and Cujo apear in cats eye.

Cujo is referenced in Pet Sematary

And Christine's license plate appears in it Chapter 2

Well, you have to keep in mind that Stephen King adaptations are based on the novels, so referencing Cujo here is no different than it being a "prequel" to Misery (Misery happens in the future in Castle Rock's universe). You have to prove that it's connecting to the film adaptations.

Though, a notable thing is that they reference the Torrance family having a thing for axes. Jack Torrance never used an axe in the novel. However, the room number from Overlook in Castle Rock is the book version rather than the movie version.

The "Rabid Dog" is, again, Cujo. The article itself spoils the book, including the death of 4-year-old Tad, who survives in the movie.
It contradicts the movie.

In my mind, The Shining, Doctor Sleep, Shawshank Redemption and Castle Rock make up their own micro-continuity. Even the Overlook Hotel still being around connects to the movie rather than the book.

Let's not forget that the 90s Child's Play comic references Norman Bates and (assuming my hunch is right) The Howling series. ;)

Grandma from Texas Chainsaw 2 does appear in the howling
