Slasherverse - Timeline

You know what? Maybe lots of people slice Ash's car up with a machete. It was the Jason knockoff from the second panel. Yeah... XD.
There do seem to be a few Jason knockoffs in the Hack/Slash series so actually yeah it could lol

So, we'll say it's just some time in 2006, probably after the Darkman crossover, the machete is from a Jason rip-off, and the second image is out-of-continuity explaining the foes he has yet to fight. I hope that works. The Evil Dead wiki places it after Prophecy which is very strongly placed in 2012.

  • Ash's "introductory" page in issue one contains several nods to previous Army of Darkness comics, firmly establishing it within the Earth-818793 continuity:
  • Ash's demonic hand from issue six was previously introduced in Army of Darkness (Volume 2) #27, where it was seen being used by Hell's Prophet during the time it possessed Ash's body.
  • In issue six, Ash mentions several times in which he had gone back to the past to prevent a needless death in his personal past:
    • "I stopped Linda from going to the cabin." Though this specific scenario was never seen in any Army of Darkness comic, the groundwork for Ash trying to save Linda might have originated during the events of Army of Darkness: Ashes 2 Ashes, in which Ash attempted to save Linda upon realizing that he had returned from 1300 AD just a few days too early.
    • "Saved Caroline before she got done with the machete." This refers to Caroline from the two Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash series, more specifically her death at the hands of Jason Voorhees and his machete in Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors #1.
    • "Kept Allison from getting bit." Ash teamed up with Alison "Dazzler" Blair in Marvel Zombies Vs. The Army of Darkness. In the fifth issue of that series, Alison was bit by the zombified Enchantress, resulting in Doctor Doom immediately killing Dazzler to prevent her from being infected. Ash's later comment about there being "a giant world eating tyrant from space" after his return referrers to Galactus, who first arrived on Earth in the Marvel Zombies universe shortly after the events of Marvel Zombies Vs. The Army of Darkness (though Galactus would have arrived regardless of Ash's actions).
Time travel, I guess?

Mr. @Pro Bot I have One curiosity. There Is a Reason for the absence of the Hellraiser comics?
Hellraiser IV contradicts the old comics. The newer comics are connected to the older comics. Hellraiser I-III is canon to those comics, but Hellraiser IV onwards is a different universe with a different history before and after I-III.

so Hack/slash will get added to the slasherverse, and what about Darkman and Re-Animator?

It's important to note that a lot of the comics do give dates, but the dates in other comics contradict the previous given dates

Here's how I see it

Hack/Slash My First Maniac: 2003
Hack/Slash Me Without You: 2003
Hack/Slash Back to School: July 7th, 2003
(Date on photo says 2005 but the latest it could be is '04)
Hack/Slash Euthanized: 2004
Hack/Slash Girls Gone Dead: March 2004
Hack/Slash Comic Book Carnage: 2004
Hack/Slash vs Nailbiter Part 1: 2004
(Nailbiter comics are Canon although this is a prequel set several years before the Nailbiter Series)
Hack/Slash vs Evil Ernie: 2004 (The original Evil Ernie comics are not Canon to this universe because it's said after his death in the original comics he was reborn in the H/S universe. Not sure if the other comics are Canon tho)
Hack/Slash Land of Lost Toys: May 2004
Hack/Slash Trailers #1: 2004 (is said not to be Canon by the series creator but there's not really anything preventing for being canon)
Hack/Slash Slashing Through the Snow: December 2004
Hack/Slash Slice Hard Prequel: 2005
Hack/Slash Slice Hard: 2005
Hack/Slash vs Chucky: 2005
Hack/Slash the series #1-10: 2005
Hack/Slash vs Nailbiter Part 2: 2005 Hack/Slash the series #11: 2005
Hack/Slash Murder/Suicide: March 2005
(yes this is a crossover with the porn site)
Hack/Slash the series #12-13: 2005 (H/S vs Bump)
Hack/Slash the series #14-17: 2005 (H/S vs Re-Animator, specially said to be the film version of West)
Hack/Slash the series #18-22: 2005
Hack/Slash the series #23: December 2005
Hack/Slash Entry Wound: December 2005
Hack/Slash the series #24-25: January 2006
Hack/Slash the series #26-28: March 2006
Vlad & Cassie vs Bloody Mary: 2006
Bomb Queen vs Hack/Slash: 2006 (the main characters are temporarily sent to the Bomb Queen universe before being sent back shortly after)
Hack/Slash Trailers #2: 2006
Hack/Slash the series #29-32: 2006
Hack/Slash vs Halloween Man: 2006 (Similar to H/S vs Bomb Queen, involves universal travel)
Hack/Slash vs Vampirella: 2006 (Vampirella just seems to exist in this universe. I don't know if any of the Vampirella comics are canon i just choose to ignore them due to how many there are)
Hack/Slash Annual Murder Messiah: 2006
Hack/Slash Vol 2 #1-8: 2006
Hack/Slash/Eva: 2006
Hatchet/Slash: 2006
Hack/Slash Vol 2 #9-19: 2006
Hack/Slash vs Mercy Sparx: 2006
(The Mercy Sparx comics are Canon thankfully there's only two of them tho)
Hack/Slash Vol 2 #20-25: 2006
Army of Darkness vs Hack/Slash: 2006
Hack/Slash Son of Samhain: 2006
Hack/Slash Resurrection: 2016?
(This one is difficult to place because the date on the newly opened camp sign says 2016 but earlier a character says Cassie Hack is 25, but her date of birth is 1986 meaning it would be 2011 but I guess the character could've just got her age wrong, but the characters are shown to be very close so it would be weird if she got it wrong, so idk)
Hack/Slash vs Chaos: 2017?
(It can be assumed the other Chaos Comics characters were also sucked from their reality into this one, like Evil Ernie. Also, the Chaos Dynamite entertainment comics are not a part of this universe, although similar events apparently happened.)
The Crow Hack/Slash: 2017?
(Doesn't seem to be too long after H/S Resurrection)

Hack/Slash 15th Anniversary: 2019 (don't know if this one is canon because how meta it)

There's also a crossover with the Living Corpse but I don't know if it's even canon nor can I find it

I figure I'll just say that Ash travelled back in time to 2006. Apparently that's something he even discusses doing in that comic.

so Hack/slash will get added to the slasherverse, and what about Darkman and Re-Animator?
Sure. Bubba Ho-Tep too, I suppose. Can't wait to figure out how Necronomicon Rising fits into the Re-Animator timeline, especially since it was to be set before the second film and Herbert West ends up stuck in the past. I guess he made his way back to the present.

There's also a Re-Animator crossover with Vampirella too, so we can throw that in there.

2018 - Vampirella Vs. Reanimator #1-4

that's my take.

Yes (even within this verse), but not starring this version of West.

How they both co-exist is what head-canon is for, I suppose.

Maybe a consequence of Ash changing everything that happened after the cabin in Army of Darkness Vol. 2 #8? Because in theory, that would change 1300 too, since the Wise Man travelled to the future because Ash arrived before (or during) the events of the cabin. Dynamite Herbert West could be some sort of time remnant. Why is he still here? Uh... I don't know. He does remember meeting Ash in Prophecy despite that meeting being erased. Same with the Classic Monsters in Furious Road, actually... weird.

Herbert West (Dynamite): "Not sure how I got here. something to do with the Necronomicon, I think."

Same question that I DID with Re-animator. Are there other comics of Dark man and Bubba Ho-Tep?

So let me get this straight, they all are the same character? So the other Re-animator comics Will be added or I missed something?
