But are they good ones? I don't ask that in ******* way but rather "Game" here in the uk sells HDMI and they sell two versions £10 and £20. the £20 one is a huge step up from the £10. I think it's the Gold Plated parts or something but the quality difference is noticeable

Look anywhere and you will see that there is absolutely no advantage to "gold-plated" cables. They don't improve anything; it's a total marketing gimmick.

I had the normal £10 one at first as £20 wasn't out. I got the £20 one and there is a big difference in audio and picture. But that is the two ps3 ones made by "Game" it might just be quality of the lead it's self but the difference is there.

However I would never buy a £100 one that's just out stupid. But at the same time I won't buy a £5 one as they tend to be cheap quality IMO. But like I said that might be these

Not to be a dick here, but I don't believe you. I've read dozens of articles and reviews by audiophiles and videophiles (if that's a word) that say there is no difference whatsoever.

What exactly is the difference you think you see/hear?

For start off the cheaper one cuts out now and then. Then my LCD displays a black screen with "No input signal" the deluxe one didn't. The Picture is clearer with it. The audio before I had to turn my tv up to hear it, good sound but quiet. Deluxe sounded louder and great.

Like I mentioned it might just be a difference in those two made by same people. It might be the insulation on the cable that helps too as it seems better insulated which will stop interference from other cables and EM sources.

Could be the cable is a little sorter as the longer the cable the worse the signal sometimes.

I don't know. I'm not an expert on the cables but the article you posting is saying the £100+ are no different. However I'm saying I owned BOTH the £10 and the £20 one and there is difference. But it could just be that the £10 they made were crap quality I don't know. I'm just saying what I noticed.

You seem to think I'm talking about £100+ ones been better I'm not. But really really cheap ones seem to be worse than you regular £20 price range ones.

All HDMI cables are the same. The gold platted ones will last longer physically.

I'm buying one of these tomorrow I think. Had a Wii and didn't like it as much as I thought I would so I'm upgrading to the best of the three systems (in my opinion). Although the system doesn't get a lot of love, I do think with all of its components that it surpasses the 360. If you can afford it.

Not yet... Maybe tomorrow. I do have an online acount, but it's my dad's PS3. He wanted one for the blu-ray player. My online name is "imFINK" if you're interested in adding me. I'll have my own PS3 soon so my online name will most likely be different... Unless you're able to recover your account on a different system like the 360.

I'm not sure. I'll wait till you get one to add you as it could be tommorow and with different name.

Also, was there a price mark down on these babies yet? Might hold off to see if there will be/was one at CES.
