Ourchair's Awesome Anime Thread

Just watched the episode of Blue dragon , online. It was pretty damn cool , Usually anime based on games suck (e.g Pokemon) but this one seemed to be fun.

Love the art But I would , It's dragonball Z influenced , drawn by the same guy (Well he did some charracter models anyway)

All in all this is looking great

_____________

in other Anime used I'm happy , I found the complete "Kinnikuman: Second Generation" on dvd , Japanese with english subtitles.

For those who don't know what it is , It was "Ultimate Muscle" when dubbed. The show was not the greatest but it combined Anime and Wrestling so I loved it:lol:

HEY! Pokemon was actually good.
Blue Dragon looks like garbage and i played the **** already in Japan, hated it!

So now that I've caught up on Naruto, I'm looking for something to satisfy my anime thirst. Something new that I haven't seen a million times. Suggestions?

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Really.

Trust me. Even when you're three episodes in and you're wondering why you're watching it.

Samurai champloo... Also i'm up to shippuden episode 17 just to update those that told me to skip the fillers which i did.

Samurai Champloo is indeed awesome, especially the last episodes.

Was it ever. only saw the last one and didn't understand. Took me two months to watch them all on animeviewer.net. also i had to watch the last three in sub format because Bolt.com was shut down so myspce hosts all of it now. it sucked seeing as how i was used to the actors voices already.

Next time you should try tv-links.co.uk they are usually fairly reliable.

Ok personally I hated the show Beyblade BUT It is going really cheap on dvd , I was wondering is it good when you start from beginning to end?

Um... Beyblade? You're joking, right? What convinced you that this was going to be worth seeing again?

Well I hated it but like i said shop near me sells it cheap on dvd , My friend said to me yesterday "You seen that? It's a great show" I was thinking "Huh , maybe I was wrong about it"

It's good if you like watching people be extreme about throwing little disk things into arenas and having them fight. And some of them have giant spirit monster things that give them powers. It was pretty bad.

I was in Intermediate (Junior High/Middle School) when that craze hit NZ, and we all made our own Beyblades out of bottle tops and stuff and fought each other. That was way better than the anime.

Ah so i'll leave it then.

There is very few anime series on dvd here that I like , DB/z/gt i had to import from usa and japan (yes i got a few versions) Sonic X I had to buy a priate one off ebay as here was just lame 1 disc english only versions and a few others.

been trying to find a new anime I love , I tried loads but most I hated that I tried.

Another one I was thinking of trying is called "Shaman King" I remember it been on Jetix here and I caught an episode or two which seemed cool at the time.

Have you checked out Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note? Those two are the best anime I've seen.
