Yeah, we in Europe is REALLY lucky. "...only going to be..." isn't exactly the words I would use :roll:

yeah but your looking at it interms of what usa are paying. I'm looking at it like 360's = £400-500 give or take on launch (cheaper now) ps3 is mostlikely going to be £500-1000 at launch (i must get it lol got 360 will have wii and must have ps3) so £179 for launch is actually pretty cheap.

yes we pay more than our american friends but we pay more for everything.

Has anyone seen or know about the features of the system? Nintendo has taken the idea of 360's "Dashboard" and done their own spin with it (unlike Sony) and calling it the "Wi channels".

With every news I hear this is sounding better and better. Only 2 more months and 2 days....

I agree Wii channles does look very cool. Now i love my 360 and want ps3 but the Wii does look cool. I even started off hating the Wii but it grew on me. Only thing thou is i wish it had a hardrive built it like 360 and ps3 and a new dvd format. ps3 has blue ray and 360 is getting the hd-dvd add-on. but its a nice little console.

I really don't care if it has HD-DVD or not. Still will be able to play DVD's, so it's cool.

Also, has anyone here seen how you can mess with photos (digital of course) on the Wii? There's a trailer on gametrailers.com and it's just freaking brilliant. I can't believe how much photos you can store on the system. It's massive!! More than I would have expected. Like 360, you can view them all, see one by one, or on a slideshow (with music, too).

What really seals the deal with this is that you're able to mess with the photos, too. Put mustaches on anyone you want and other things. Just really awesome.

Again....2 months and 2 days to go...

More news about the Wii (seen on gametrailers.com) is that you can have videos stored as well. But that's not all! You can turn this videos into puzzles! 8 pieces, 16 and 24 I believe are the three different options you can have for how many pieces you want the puzzle to be.


The Wii sports look great, too. I'm not really a fan of normal golf or tennis. And I'm not a fan of boxing at all. But seeing it for the Wii makes me want to play the games and I really like how the people look, though it may look "childish" to some.

I think LOZTP is the one I'm looking forward to the most. My bf has the gamecube on reserve and I'm a little bummed out they don't come out the same day.

I had that one reserved for about a year now. But I'm giving that version to a friend as a 2-month late b-day gift.

The game i want with this is the game that turned me on to the Wii. Smash Bros. BUT Wii sports does look so damn cool and it's free! I'll be intrested to see if it as fun as it looks.

As for smash bros release i'm not sure I was assuming it came out with console. But after you asked i looked it up and its 2007. Damn it.

I sold my ps2!!!!! why? because the only game i wanted for ps2 that was coming out was Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 but i noticed most places are saying it is a Wii launch title so i'll Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 with my Wii.
