Good idea. I'll edit the thread title.

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

The fist few pages of this thread are very funny.

First of all, Wii is a way better name than Revolution. Revolution is boring. Wii is fun and unique.

Sales between the Wii and PS3 seem to be the complete opposite of what the opinion polls were saying. PS3s are EVERYWHERE. No one can keep the Wii in stock. Controllers are almost impossible to find.

Has anyone played Red Steel? It looks cool and I like the look of using the remote on the sword and gun. Is the game good?

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

I was honestly going to hang up video games. After I played through Zelda, I was going to call it quits.

Why? You say that like you were going to quit smoking or doing drugs. Its not a bad habit, you know.

So much for that - the Wii is so much fun.

So is heroin.

;)

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

I love reading the people who bashed the Wii in the beginning, then later on saying it's the best system hands down

I was going to buy this but got a PS3 instead. I've read one bad review but after talking to a friend who said it was great I've decided to buy it soon.

I still haven't played it though so I should just shut up now.

Not saying that it was a bad habit, I just was entirely uninterested with video games... Like, it wasn't a conscious thing to stop playing more of just losing interest. The Wii revived me, you know?

...I had to call Nintendo after I got another "corrupt" message... I'm sending it in. :-/

Thats some sweet, sweet vindication for us Nintendo purists.

I can understand that. I used to play games pretty regularly a few years ago when the Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2s had all just come out. Mainly Gamecube since thats the one I owned (my buddy had the other two), and mainly the Metroid Prime games. But once I beat the MP games, I rarely ever played my GC again, other than to occasionally replay them. The end of 2005, when the USM game came out, saw me fire up the GC again a bit, to play through that game. It still sits, hardly used up to present day. It had actually been well over a year since I'd played any type of game at all until a couple weeks ago, when my girlfriend bought me a Nintendo DS, and I bought myself (you guessed it) Metroid Prime - Hunters. I've been playing that game like crazy (Spider-Man: Battle For New York, the only other game I've picked up so far, was lame as hell). So I guess it comes down to the Metroid series of video games getting me back into gaming on several occasions, and lack of new ones which bores me right back out. To keep me on as a full-time gamer, I propose Nintendo release a new, amazing Metroid game at least once a year.

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

You ever play Phoenix Wright, Attorney At Law for the DS? I actually thought that game was cool... In an odd Japanese way, you know? Check it out.

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

I thought I'd post up my Mii and a few my Girlfriend made. I'm not sure why but she loves making these things. Most are lame but some are pretty good.

Eh, I don't know. I have a big aversion to most things Japanese...anime/manga, sushi, neon hair dye jobs on teenagers. I also have a hard time believing it'll be my type of game if its a courtroom/lawyer type deal. I might check it out, we'll see. I did hear some good things about it, so I just might pick it up.

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

brain age is awesome. Im hooked at walmart for a good 20 minutes there. Wii is awesome. I ahtye golf but wii golf is a blast! So much fun.

Re: Nintendo Wii discussion - post your friend codes

I was always a fan of the Tiger Woods golf games...except 2006...that one sucked. Or maybe it was 2005. No, no, I think it was '06. Ah, screw it, not worth remembering.

Tiger Woods 07 is the second greatest video game ever made.

I don't really like Wii Golf. Although the water in it looks pretty cool.
