Avengers Mighty Avengers Series Discussion **SPOILERS**

Godawful, but I do enjoy Ares.

"This is madness"

I expected "This Is MARRVELLLLL!!!"

Yes, I couldn't believe it! The setup was all there:

"This is madness!"

"No!"

And then...

....

Nothing.

It would've been great if they did it.

And I still like this book. :p

(Me and you both, Doom, me and you both. And everyone on the BendisBoards.)

This is still so bad. However, I love the cast (except they're written ****ty by Bendis) and Frank Cho owns. Plus, Tigra's a hottie.

I liked Ultron taking over the Helicarrier and Mole Man. Mole Man FTW.

I still love this book. It's like #3 of 5 crappy books I actually get. And regardless of how outlandish it is....I still like it. Thought bubbles and all.

#3 obviously picks up where we last left off....with Janet Pym confronting Ultron.

The team retreats back to SHIELD except for Sentry, who decides he's gonna stay and duke it out with still-naked Ultron. So sexy....and still so wrong.

Big fight ensues....Ultron disappears...group recoups at SHIELD....Ultron hacks into the system and Commander Hill is taken outta commision. This leaves the question---who is in charge? Tony's gone. Hill is out. The only one left is a Level 10 operative.....but the only know op is Fury. So that's outta the question. But wait---there's another Level 10 no one knew about. Black Widow!

She realizes that its up to her to run the show and she goes for it full force. Seeing her stand there in her sexy skintight ninja suit and barking orders stirred up a rumbling in the naughty bits.......and in Ares' too. Seeing him with a thought bubble that just reads "" was hilarious.

Everything pretty much streamlines itself back into normalcy...or something like that. And then on the upperdeck we see something in the distance. The group gets ready for battle....but all of a sudden we see that it's an old Iron Man robot. He comes with the message that "If your getting this message---then Tony Stark is dead....."

So yeah....still more absurdity.....but a little more coherent this time. Oh yeah---did I mention that Hank Pym was about to get it on with a sexy yet furry Tigra? Even I'd hit that.

The book is slowly finding it's stride....and I think Bendis is heeding the "thought bubble" gripes because there was a lot less in this issue. I'm sure that depending on future sales we'll see if this book makes it past it's first arc.....if it does.....I foresee this book becoming REALLY entertaining.

3.5/5

If by really entertaining you mean complete crap, then I guess your right

It makes no sense, all of these issues, and the thought bubbles suck, they get in the way

Enough of this crap, stop wasting our precious paper Bendis.

So your entertained by crap?

Sometimes.

I CAN'T HELP IT! LOOK OVER THERE! WATCHER SAVED LANA LANG! MOLE WON'T READ WATCHMEN! TOG IS GIVING OUT SENSUAL MASSAGES! PLANET-MAN ATE A CHEESEBURGER!

Whew......score one for deflection.

And why does ares seem to have no more depth than a barbarian? Please. That's stupid characterization there.

I have no excuse for this. :?

This is the worst book ever published.

It reads like a 12 year old wrote it.

Seriously - worst thing I've ever read. EVAR.

I will keep reading based on the train wreck factor, but I will not be paying money for any of it.

Bendis should be ashamed of himself. This is worse than Ultimate Iron Man, Ultimate Deadpool, Ultimate Doctor OctoMagnetoPus, and Ultimate MJGoblin COMBINED.

-5/5

I actually agree with you. This is worst than USM and UIM. The dialogue is horrible and the though bubbles just makes me want to kill someone. The art is great but part of me thinks that the story is actually made so that Frank can draw more naked women, that's my only explanation for Female Ultron covered in liquid metal.

But since I like ASBR I don't have credibility at all to say what is good or not.

It's bad....but not that bad. Come on....you've seen worse. I know I have.

Black Widow finally showed why she's on the team, but... why does anyone still think of her as a spy? Her face has been everywhere since she's been involved in superheroics in which she's ridiculously outclassed for some stupid Bendis reason. She clearly has more leadership potential than sneaky potential.

The part with Sentry and the helicarrier was actually pretty cool, but it would've been cooler if it'd happened last issue. And next issue we get another twelve pages of the Mighties standing around going "OMGWTF WE ARE USELESS WITHOUT TONY" while the automated armor plot dumps all over the place.

I actually can't remember anything about the Hank scenes because I just didn't care about them. That's exactly what happened with Attack of the Clones.

1/5. Not as sucktastic as the last issue, but I can't feel optimistic knowing that next issue the Mighties are going to be standing around listening to the armor, thinking "Huh?" and "" and saying "What is this?" and "Oy!" while Bendis gets grubby fingerprints all over Ultron.

It's pretty bad, though. The roster seems like a twelve-year-old randomly picking his favorite characters and throwing them together.

The plot has Iron Man mutating into a hot chick Ultron.

And the thought balloons are worthless. For someone who regularly brings up how he went to a college for writing, Bendis sure does make amateur mistakes. I'd be scared of how his stuff looked like BEFORE he went to school to learn how to do this.

Not to mention, this should be Marvel's flagship title. It's the premiere iteration of the Avengers, and the direct arm of the Initiative. And this is what they're doing with it. Feh.

YES. That's EXACTLY what's wrong with it. THANK YOU.

Is it too late to change my screename to MightyAvengersLover69, with my subnic reading "Thought Balloons FTW?"

Thanks.

Do you like it, or do you think it's good? There's a difference.

My main problem with the series is the over usage of the though ballons.
I mean everytime they say something there is a though that doesn't add that much info and some of them are only used as jokes, that aren't really funny.
