Tbh i think It Will never happen the other way around, as the comics Lore Is much more strict than the MCU. It's already a miracle we're getting the TVA Series, tho It still Isn't 616.I still personally believe the reasoning is Marvel Studios wanting to see their multiverse as separate and therefore for them it's easy to say they're 616 as they're not considering the comics. I just don't see why they would use it if they were taking the comics into consideration. But that's just how I see it. I know the comics have crossover but so far it's been one sided and nothing from Marvel Studios itself has made it out like it's the same multiverse. It would be nice if Feige cleared it up.
Hm? Why would you be in the way? You can think differently, only Jessica Drew is an absolute from my understanding.people on here have hypothesized that this is just a past version of the canon event cult spider-society tho so i'm not gonna get in their way
and continuing from this it doesn't help the fact that the comics version of the MCU characters are like 100x times strongher hahahah.Tbh i think It Will never happen the other way around, as the comics Lore Is much more strict than the MCU. yeaa tbh after (albeit quickly) reading thru the first issue of this im going to assume its not related outside of 332 jessica being present (probably) before the events of across the spider-verse; the original spider-cat was killed in the original spider-verse comic anyway so i always just assumed the cat seen in the movie was different entirelypeople on here have hypothesized that this is just a past version of the canon event cult spider-society tho so i'm not gonna get in their way
Weren't the dead Spider-people brought back to life?yeaa tbh after (albeit quickly) reading thru the first issue of this im going to assume its not related outside of 332 jessica being present (probably) before the events of across the spider-verse; the original spider-cat was killed in the original spider-verse comic anyway so i always just assumed the cat seen in the movie was different entirely
We also discussed the integration of the former Netflix shows into Disney+'s MCU chronology and how Daredevil: Born Again was retooled to embrace those stories. But are all those former Netflix characters on the board now? Is someone such as Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) eligible to return under the right circumstances?
It's all one shared universe, so you never know where characters are going to pop up next. It's a huge opportunity to have officially folded those stories into our canon. Whether or not they were always part of the canon, it's now official, and we can play with those toys in our toy box. There are surprises around the band that I won't get into, but for fans of the Netflix shows, we've got a very exciting show on the horizon in Daredevil: Born Again.
oh wow yea i had no idea that all happened so that basically can account for any discrepancies in appearances from the comics to the movies that would otherwise not make sense with a deathSpider-Man Vol 4 6

not getting my hopes up but id love to see these shows updated with stark tower integrated into the nyc skyline (only even saying this as a remote possibility due to them changing the statue of liberty after the fact in ms marvel)
I wouldn't consider comic Spider-Society a past version of the film's. I just think there's 2 separate Spider-Societies with similar aesthetics that both feature 332 Jessica Drew. I consider the comic version a precursor in the sense that it was likely formed before the film version just to account for Jess' pregnancypeople on here have hypothesized that this is just a past version of the canon event cult spider-society tho so i'm not gonna get in their way
The way I've rationalized it so far is that at some point the comic Spider-Society disbands for whatever reason (if I had to hazard a guess it'd happen in Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse), and down the line some are recruited for Miguel's Spider-Society thinking it's more or less the same thing. We don't know the full details of Miguel's recruitment process but the Mumbattan scenes imply that he doesn't info dump Canon on everybody, so some of them may not knowThat kinda has me thinking, why would some members be part of two different societies with two different ideologies? One is simply protecting the Multiverse and the other is bent on following canon and allowing multiple people's loved ones die because DeStInY
i agree with this, im definitely in favor of adding the sky dimension pages from the kahhori comic and the scene from venom 3 (honestly im not sure why theres even a debate about the latter considering the scene from venom 2 is already included)This is less on including the Kahhori and TVA comics specifically, but wouldn't everyone agree that if a scene set in the MCU appears in a movie, show or comic, that scene should be on the timeline (Let There Be Carnage credits/The Last Dance prologue)? For example, say a character from Earth-616 goes to Earth-199999 briefly for 2 pages, it would make sense that those two pages would be on the timeline even though the issue as a whole shouldn't be. That's what we did with Let There Be Carnage anyway. This is a timeline for the MCU so I feel that every scene that occurred in that universe should be covered even if the individual appearance isn't.
