Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

far from home also had an extended theatrical release that was never released outside of that, making it considered non canon, i say if this version of no way home is released digitally it can be debated which version is canon but for now i would stick to the original theatrical cut.

FFH's extended scene is on the timeline, but it had a home release later

Do we know wich version of NWH we consider canon to the prime MCU?
Just saw the "More Fun Stuff" edition of NWH yesterday. It was National Cinema Day (first I've heard of it) in the US, meaning every single theater, and every single showing was only $3.00. I saw it in "Big D". Anyway, this site here mentions "all" of the changes but they missed at least one. https://screenrant.com/spiderman-no-way-home-extended-cut-differences-additions/

They say that the first new scene is with the DoDC. But the first new scene is actually right after Spidey's identity is revealed. He's swinging MJ all around and they go down into the sewers. Did they miss any others?

I really hope this version comes out on Blu Ray. It would have been cool if they added the Venom 2 post credits scene, right after Dr Strange does his spell, but I know they couldn't add that. Still would have been neat though.

I personally haven't seen the new version yet (probably won't unless they release it on Blu-Ray) but from your experience would you say that in relation to the daily bugle.net and Tik tok stuff the extended edition nullified a good chunk of it whether it was added to the new version (like the Betty Brandt interviews) or flatout contradicts continuity (E.g. the spider menace strikes again Daily bugle short)?

Nothing is contradicted, to me anyway, and those you mentioned are the only things added from TikTok/ YouTube, even the Spider-Menace one, so I'd say that these are nullified:
Daily Bugle Exclusive: a chat with one of Peter
Parker's teachers, Coach Wilson. (Link)
Daily Bugle Exclusive: meet author Eugene "Flash" Thompson - the creator of the name "Spider-Man." (Link)
Daily Bugle Exclusive: a sit-down with Peter Parker's best friend, Ned Leeds. (Link)
A Daily Bugle exclusive sit-down with the Spider-Menace himself, Peter Parker. (Link)
TheDailyBugle.net: EXCLUSIVE - The Spider-Menace Strikes Again! (Link)

The interview ones are all put together as one "thing" and the other one is in reference to the first appearance of Electro and Sandman. It's about the same as the link above, even with the part about the supplements. It does have the caller go into a bit more detail, mentioning the sand guy helping Spidey stop the electricity guy, along with a photo of the caller on the screen. I don't think any of the other Daily Bugle shorts would really fit into the movie. What they added was pretty cool though, especially the little bit extra with Charlie Cox, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Plus the after credits scene that is no longer a Dr Strange trailer. To me, this is now the definitive edition of the movie. That being said, I don't think I would pay more than $3- $5 just to see the extra scenes in the theater.

Speaking of extended editions, were the two different rerelease versions of Endgame (Tom Holland introduces Endgame and then says to stay tuned for a FFH trailer after the movie as post credits, and then later this was changed to-- I'm honestly not sure- something extra with Hulk, I think?) ever officially released anywhere, or maybe even leaked anywhere? I saw the Tom Holland re-release, but not the Hulk one.

The Hulk scene wasn't actually finished If memory serves. It was just thrown in there to give them an excuse to release and extended edition.

I'm also one of the few people who saw Inhumans on the IMAX screen. It was a different edit of the first two episodes together and did in fact have some changes to scenes here and there. Being honest though, I really don't remember what the scenes were, as I've pretty much blocked the show from memory, I just remember when it finally aired on TV, we watched it and we talked about this scene missing or that scene being longer in the theater.

So, I just rewatched Age of Ultron, and is there any particular reason why the ending at the Avengers Compound is only a month after the rest of the movie? Laura tells Clint that "in a few months" they'll be outnumbered. Which to me makes it seem like Nathanial's birth should be around July. Plus it gives more time for the Stark Industries facility to be renovated into the early stages of the compound and determining where we end up with Love & Thunder's placement, it gives the Thor and Jane break-up more time. If you want to assume it did happen before he left Earth at the end of the movie.

And, Disney + has placed Thor: Love & Thunder as the most recent event on their timeline. I don't exactly agree, but I do still think the movie is 2025.

Not saying the Disney + timeline should be followed, but I think a good workaround is Jane tests her blood on April 30th, goes to New Asgard and becomes Lady Thor sometime in May, and the bulk of the movie (once Thor arrives in New Asgard) takes place September/October (which also means the Guardians portion takes place around here too). I don't see anything that says it necessarily has to be Summer. You see kids at popular tourist destinations all throughout the year. It does feel like there's some time passage given Valkyrie and Jane seem to have a bonded relationship and Jane is comfortable as Lady Thor.
