Lost *spoilers*

Have ya'll heard that the Island may not disappear come May? There was an article that I read that said they planned on continuing the Lost franchise, whether it be in comic book format or even a new television show, a la Star Trek or something. Think about it -- "Lost: The Next Generation". Wouldn't that be something? Sike. Disney and ABC said that they want to do something down the road but keep the intergrity of the show. We'll see what that means... Either way Damon and Carlton have said they won't be on board after May. I really hope that they end the show in a way other people can't come in and **** it up. Like Rowling jumped so many years in the future with Harry Potter and named Harry's kids so stupidly so people wouldn't write books about their years in Hogwarts.

I doubt it. Though I did have an idea of a book that focuses on the rest of the castaways. Lostpedia has a huge lists of the extras and using the series as a road map you could create a really good book that can answer some of the lesser questions (like Libby). And have the time skip in season 5 be the conclusion. Like not all of them died in the flaming arrow attack, see how Rose and Bernard came to their decision. Have their experiences differ from the main cast. I think that could be a fun supplemental story

In Stephen King's Under the Dome, he mentions "...The Hunted Ones, a clever sequel to Lost." I wonder what it's about?

Well...
in a recent press conference, Damon and Carlton confirmed that the actress who played Libby would return to finish her story after all. This is new this week, I'm pretty sure.

If the Wikipedia page is accurate, A LOT of people are returning.

My overall favorite episode from Season Five has got to be Lefluer. I think when Sawyer speaks to Rich... That's up there with top Lost moments. It was so bad ass.

That's a perfect example of things that made me love season 5, the characters actually used the knowledge they've gathered about the island. Sawyer using time travel to his advantage, using the black rock as a cover story, Locke telling Alpert Jacob sent him, When Miles pointed out the fresh graves Faraday didn't go "Huh, but how do you know, durr" he immediately tried to use that no matter how silly it seems. They stopped acting pretty stupid in those situations

That being said, there was a lot of frustrating dialogue... Especially between the Oceanic 6 members when they were off island. For instance, I had a huge problem with Kate not telling Jack what she did with Aaron. If I were Jack I would have held Kate by the throat and demanded an answer. Or, when Hurley turned himself in... I thought that was extremely stupid. Just because Sayid says don't trust him, it's like he can't make up his own mind. Of all the seasons, I think season 5 was most strict in terms of plot progression at the expense of the characters acting naturally.

I'm not sure about that, I get Jack not asking because he's kinda all about faith and willing to let the universe unfold before him. Why she said "Never ask about him" in that incredible creepy scene was weird. And for Hurley I thought it was very good strategy to negate what Ben can do. I mean he should know Ben is not a good guy, Sayid saved Hurley and got attacked in the process, of course Hurley is going to trust him about Ben. And turning himself in protects him from anything. And Hurley as the kind nature soul he is would assume he should do the right thing and turn himself in, even if that is a naive point of view. I thought it fit perfect for the character.

Something I didn't like was the Bentham episode, I was hoping for Jack and Lockes confrontation to be bigger. Have Locke reveal he was paralyzed, point out every amazing thing Jack has witness and challenging him. Though I saw an interview with Terry Oquin who believed that Locke had already given up believing he would have to die no matter what to bring them back and deep down was just going through the motions during his visits.

rewatching season five.

I was hoping they would fix the mistake of when Sayid shot Ben. In 'He's Our You' You can clearly see that Sayid shot him on the left side of his chest, right in the heart, but then in the next episode ('Whatever Happened, Happened') the bullet wound switched to his right side.

And probably the only big let down for me in season 5 was when Richard wiped Ben's memory. It would have been so amazing to find out that Ben had remembered them all along.

Omar was one of the mercenaries, the second in command after Keamy. Minkowski was the guy who was experiencing the time shift and was locked in the room with Desmond and Sayid.

Damn it can't ABC make one good promo on their own? Seriously even other channel in the world made better promos for Lost than ABC

LOST in Hebrew! awesome.

Keep in mind that Minkowski, Faraday, Eloise, and Desmond were the first four time travellers. There's going to be a scene involving all of these characters somewhere in the season. Also, apparently Aldo is back. The guy from It's Always Sunny.

Awesome on both tidbits
