Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

This show is such a cocktease.
It totally is.

I still think it was the brunette from that St Patty's Day party in the third season.
Yeah, I think it could still be her.

The season finale was good and it's a great setup for us to finally get closer to the seeing who the mother is with her being in Ted's class and all. And we all know that Ted will still get to design buildings and all in the future as he's told his kids.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

You wanna know how I met your mother? I went to a fireworks factory and I asked for their best bang!!

That's more of something to be proud of rather than insulted by

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Season 5 to premiere Monday, Sept. 21 at 8pm.

Huh. Didn't expect the show to come back in Sept. with the late start they're having to begin shooting the season.

Sitcoms have a really quick turnaround in regards to the time between they film and when they air, since they're cheap and easy to produce. Believe it or not, sometimes they even wrap filming days before it airs. It's quite a testament to Carter Bays and Craig Thomas that each episode is such a comedy gem, week after week.

some, do some don't, it takes an average of 7-9 days to film an esp, then they have to cut it and edit it.

i was an extra for the show leverage last week and we were filming episode 208, and season 2 starts on TNT on ?july 15?

Yes, but again, Leverage is an hour-long cable tv drama. I was only referring to 22-minute sitcoms with laugh tracks.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

I hope they win both. This show deserves it.

Re: How I Met Your Mother (discussion)

Tentative first few episodes schedule for season 5:

Season 5, Episode 1.

Title:"Definitions"

Synopsis: Robin and Barney resist their friends' pressure that they should have "the talk" about their relationship. Meanwhile, a panicky Ted, about to face his first college class, decides he must keep control of his students by releasing his "inner douche", a tactic that backfires miserably.

Original Airdate: 9/21/09

---------------------------------------------------------

Season 5, Episode 2.

Title: "Double Date"

Synopsis: While on a blind date, Ted and Jen realize they've met before, on a blind date seven years ago. They decide to retrace their steps and correct each other's mistakes in an effort to change the outcome of the current evening.

Original Airdate: 9/28/09

---------------------------------------------------------

Season 5, Episode 3.

Title: "Robin 101"

Synopsis: Robin thinks (understandably) that Barney is cheating on her, but in fact he's betraying her and violating her trust in a much more devious way: he's taking classes in "Robin 101" from her ex-boyfriend, Ted, and Barney is proving to be a very apt pupil...

Original Airdate: 10/5/09
