CBS does a really bad job advertising this, their best show by far (and one of their lowest rated in viewers). I was watching the Pats game today, and there were long, clip-laden ads for every new show coming up this week (e.g. the Without a Trace Christmas Special! :roll: ), except for HIMYM. They decided to go for an 8 second ad that just showed the cast looking down at the camera with an announcer saying, "An all new How I Met Your Mother, tomorrow on CBS." Great job, executives. What with this and The Strike, is there anything you can't completely **** up without the help of someone with actual talent?

CBS has announced that the show will return March 17, 2008 with 9 episodes.

I heard an interview with Carter Bays on NPR about the show returning. Apparently they turned what was supposed to be their New Years Eve show into a St. Patrick's Day show.
