Hollywood Stock Exchange

I've given up a little after Grindhouse bombed and, also, I couldn't get on the site at work for a week or so and that really handicapped me. I'll get back into it later when the pain goes away.

I've decided to not keep all four million plus dollars of my current money active in investments. The strain of monitoring them all is getting to me, and --- not to brag or anything --- it's not like I'm in any danger of losing ground to someone at the moment.

Strangely though, I'm doing better than I have in past days, even though my investments consist only of Hulk 2, Edward Norton, Punisher 2, Chris Evans, Speed Racer's Christina Ricci, Pirates' Geoffrey Rush and Iron Man's Leslie Bibb, I'm now up today by $51,000.

I also sold off my holdings on Justin Timberlake (Shrek the Third) and James Franco (Spider-Man 3) after they went down by 25 cents after weeks of earnings that put them in the 200,000 dollar profit range.

Currently holding onto Clash of the Titans (CLASH), which I plan to get rid of this Saturday. Am making sweet returns right now off of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (FOUR2). They just announced that Star Trek (TRK11) will most definitely have James T. Kirk in it, so I've got that too. And I think In the Land of Women (LNDWM) might have some surprise potential.

Chris Evans (CEVAN) made some leaps and bounds immediately after I picked him up. That was good. Edward Norton (ENORT) is still turning in a profit, same for James Franco (JAFRA) and Leslie Bibb (LBIBB). Lost's Matthew Fox (MFOX) was just announced as Racer X for Speed Racer so his value's going to be shooting off for a while.

All in all, a good profit of 59k today, while 2.3million dollars lies dormant and currenlty uninvested.

I could be again if I had time for crazy trading. But I do not.
I'm on a diet myself. No more than 15 total holdings at a time. Hence the fact that more than half my current value is inactive.

Joe Kalicki said:
I still refuse to reboot though. . . I'm just sitting tight until I get my energy back.
You can reboot?

I have a little suspicion that The Condemned (CNDMN) is going to score me some good cash. Ditto for The Wolfman (WOLFM), which will see Benicio del Toro as the titular character in this revival of the classic Universal monster franchise.

James Franco (JAFRA) and Matthew Fox (MFOX) continue to be profitable, as well as Justin Timberlake (JTIMB) and Christina Ricci (CRICC).

Benicio Del Toro is playing The Wolfman?

Didn't he play, like, a Wolf Boy in Big Top Pee-Wee?

Wow, full circle.

(and in the meantime he banged Scarlett Johansson in an elevator)

He hung out with Pee-Wee Herman, boned Scarlett Johansson, AND got paid to slap Brittany Murphy on-screen.

What a lucky guy.

I somehow thing my listings record of my starbond holdings is wrong.

-873,671,939,430,809,600%

That can't be right.

Made a fat load of cash off of the news that Jason Statham will be in Death Race. My current value: H$4,628,502.14

Also, a .13 cent change in the uber cheap Quiet Type netted me 6,500 dollars which is nice percentage gain for the money I invested in it. I'm no big fan of Tobey Maguire (or his off-screen personality), but he's always had a good taste for flicks as I've never seen a film of his I've hated. I was glad I chose it over Urban Townies, as it seemed the less interesting of the two.

I can't wait till Maguire's done with this Spider-Man business. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed those films, but I miss 'geeky arthouse wannabe' Tobey Maguire.

Up by 134k! W00t!

Thank you Ron Perlman (RPERL) and thank you Death Race (DRACE).

Also, I have about 252,000 that's not invested in anything because I sold all my shares of Felicity Huffman. A significant drop off resulted in my basically being screwed by her for about 6,500 dollars. Any suggestions?
