Dear Brian,

Just because you landed a super-hot Hollywood hottie for a girlfriend does not mean you get to be famous again.

It just doesn't.

Sincerely,
Doom

PS -- I'm serious Brian. Just sit the **** down and be thankful.

How do you know about things like this?!

Re: Green Lantern-the Movie

Here's another article about Green Lantern, not much new info. Just that it's definitely being filmed in Sydney and that preproduction is supposed to start in July with filming comencing in November.

It's being made by WB but is being filmed in a FOX studio in Syndey?

I don't think that is that uncommon. For instance, I know that parts of the Spider-man movies which were made by Sony were filmed on the Universal Backlot.

I'm guessing studios just rent out their lots

Yup. Studios often shoot their film and shows on lots owned by rival film or television studios. When I was 17, I was out in LA and interned on the NBC shows "Working" (an office sitcom starring Fred Savage which only lasted a couple seasons) and "Third Rock From the Sun". They were both filmed on the CBS Studios lot.

Its really just about scheduling, finding the necessary requirements for the scenes, and costs. Its a pretty common thing.

I can see it.

Re: Green Lantern-the Movie

That's who that guy is?

I like him in the few movies I've seen him in.

I think its the guy from Stealth, assuming anyone actually watched that movie.

EDIT: according to DARKKNIGHT's post its Bradley Cooper, whose been in Alias, Wet hot American Summer, Wedding Crashers, and Nip Tuck.

I liked him in Alias but I can't really imagine him as Hal Jordan... but then I can't really imagine anyone in particular. :?

Re: Green Lantern-the Movie

I kind of liked the idea of Chris Pine. Sam Worthington was another name floating around that I thought would be good. I'm still not sure how I feel about this...
