Fables series discussion (spoilers)

What would people think about a thread for Fables discussion for tradewaiters only? I'd like to talk about Fables more but I don't get the singles and I really don't want to risk spoilers about the series.

Thoughts?

It's fine with me, though I usually just skip over single issue posts.

Go ahead. I can change this to a singles discussion thread and you can create a trade discussion thread.

#74 was another superb issue. But most are. The Fables continue their owning of the Empire and Gepetto is going nuts.

But the last line scares me. I don't like where this is going. I don't want any of the characters to die...

More of the same, really. The Fables get in a big mess but without any effort they get out of it unharmed. Something big needs to happen for this series to have any tension to it anymore.

Nice.

Although I hope Willingham has a hand in the Cinderella series.

And I'm not so keen on an illustrated novel. Why can't it just be a comic? Not that it won't be good, but it's re-read value goes down significantly.

I actually think it's the hardcover original graphic novel that's been mentioned before, and not an actual novel.

A follow-up to 1001 Nights of Snowfall?

Either way, more Fables is a good thing by any stretch of the imagination.

Similar to the successful Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall book, there will be a new story by Willingham called Fables: Peter and Max. The graphic novel will be illustrated by Steve Leoloha. It will answer what happened to Peter Piper of Pickled Pepper fame and his older brother Max, who grew up to become the Pied Piper. The book will be out in about a year.

So I guess it is a graphic novel. Stupid websites.

I guess they need another special one page Fables comic for Comic Con again this year, like they did last year. I don't care to look for it, but if anyone finds a scan please post it thanks!

I've pretty much made this the only comic I read now. It's that good.

I just got a girl I'm seeing into Fables. I gave her the first two trades to read and she loves it. She was texting me all day about it the other day.

I don't understand people that can't make time for borrowed comics. They take like ten minutes to read, you could read one issue a night and finish a trade in a week.
