(Defunct thread)

Maybe they can write it into Crisis?
I don't see that happening, with the show being set approximately 200 years ago and the Arrow-Multiverse working as if all universes happen at the same time (eg. 1990 Flash is him 28 years later, unlike Spider-Man 2099).

Didn't the original crisis cameo some Old West and WWII characters? Plus there's the potential for time travel. But it sounds like it's being shipped around to other networks, so it's likely not over yet.

I can't find the interview now, but the showrunners said that Pennyworth takes place in the early 60s, specifically 1963.

So I'm guessing there's timeline changes in comparison to our world. (Like Germany having control over the Netherlands as stated in Ep 4.)

How is Boo Normal supposed to fit in S3? Chloe's implies that
she knows who Lucifer is
. Instead, they should have stated non-canon or recommended to force it in season 4 somewhere.

Between episodes 4 and 5 or 5 and 6 of Season 4?

EDIT: I took the showrunners word on it and put it between 3x15 and 3x16.

Chloe definitely didn't specify that
she knew who Lucifer was,
so it the implication that she believed in strange occurrences could easily be retconned as something else entirely.

Between 3 and 4?

For now, the official word is between 3x15 - 3x16, which is just a little odd. I think they wanted to maintain that it was standalone but not part of Season 4 so somehow came to the conclusion it fits there.

I do agree with them on Once Upon a Time, though.

'Once Upon a Time' fits nicely exactly where it is, as almost like a calm before the storm, a nice little digression," says co-showrunner Joe Henderson. As for "Boo Normal," which hinted at Chloe post-devil face reveal, "That fits really well in Season 3, ignoring the fact that Chloe [says what she says], because Chloe hints about knowing more, but doesn't really say it."

She implied it, but sure, it could be retconned. We're not people who are involved on the show so that's what the official word is.

That being said, it's very weird for a person to accept ghosts because of a "strange" occurrence. Wonder what happened to Decker for her to respond with her saying she has "seen a lot crazier things. Like, a lot."

Speaking of retcons, if Pennyworth and Gotham were somehow set on Earth-38, that headcanon would create an logical (plus historical and geographical) issue after Crisis - that being Berlin.

Pennyworth had an off-handed line in episode four about the German Reich (a fourth Reich?) allowing autonomy to the Netherlands in a committee in Berlin.
Meanwhile on Earth-1, in the Legends of Tomorrow episode "No Country for Old Dads", East and West Berlin are a thing as well as East and West Germany.

If Earth-38 included Gotham and Pennyworth and that Earth merges with Earth-1 in Crisis...that would extremely alter the events of the aforementioned Legends of Tomorrow episode.
But that episode is integral to the storyline so...the cold fusion scientist would be stuck in Germany regardless.

Just a thought. Felt like sharing.

EDIT: It's probably inevitable; Batwoman's Gotham City is (almost) EXACTLY like the one from the show Gotham.

As seen here:

2019 - 15 years = 2004 (i.e. the supposed year when Gotham's series finale took place?)

Timeline for Titans and Doom Patrol and other DC Universe streaming service (exclusive) live-action shows.
These timecodes exclude the intros and recaps.
But they said that the Doom Patrol seen in Titans 1×04 isn't the same Doom Patrol in the Doom Patrol TV series, and that Titans and Doom Patrol aren't in the same universe?

And how do we know that Swamp Thing and Stargirl are in the same universe?

Official press release from DC/WB states Doom Patrol takes place following their episode in Titans.

Show runner has also said:

"They're in the same world. We're asking fans to come to this version of the show knowing that it is the same world, but it's a different continuity. While there are elements of Titans and the show's introduction of our team, not all characterizations are the same and it's best just to come into it with a fresh look."

Not to mention that episode 2 has references to the Krypto/Superboy ending for Titans season 1 and the death of Melissa Roth from that shows first episode.

Swamp Thing and Stargirl are more in the air. Swamp Thing team has said it COULD coexist, but that they werent concerned with that. My guess is it may be brought back in later like how Constantine was to the Arrowverse. Stargirl set reportedly had a Rita Farr poster, and the DCU Easter eggs blogs suggests there may have been a Stargirl reference in Doom Patrol so there's potential, but no confirmation.

On a seperate note, I've been working on a timeline video for Watchtower Database on both shows, and one of the last things I've gotta pin down is the flashback from Danny the Street. I see here that its marked 2009, but after watching the episode multiple times I've seen nothing that pins it there. Is there a reason for this date?

I believe I read that on the Titans wiki. It's not there now so I'll change it.

Gotcha. Their wiki has some stuff in the timeline that isnt even mentioned in the shows, like birthdates for Bruce and such. It's not very reliable IMO. From what I'm seeing Maura says it occurred "a couple years back" so really no telling, but 2017 at latest

Okay I moved it to 2017.

BTW Mattie, if you're making a timeline video for both shows, please take into account that Chief in Titans mentioned that Rita Farr was in a hospital for "decades" (20 years at the very least.)

If I were to guess, this would likely be sometime after her traumatic encounter with Mento in the 1958, but before 1976 when she's in Doom Manor. 18 years total, which is close to two decades.

IIRC Rita even brings up her time in the hospital in the Doom Patrol episode "Frances Patrol"; so again they're taking what was said in Titans into account. Regardless of Chief looking and sounding a bit different and the "Danny Street" mention by the hunter Dick Grayson beat up.

I put it in there, but I didnt catch that line so I may revisit the ep again and add it. We're at a 20 page script right now and it's been all I've been doing for like the past two weeks
