I've probably missed something, but i didn't notice a two day time jump.

There wasn't. I messed up again because I'm trying to also multi-task with heaps with real life work at the same time.

Since I'm out of room on the front page, I'll tentatively add Pennyworth to the Gotham timeline. For now.

I hate to, but the official Pennyworth Twitter page liking that one Tweet, IMO, is enough justification that they intend for it to be at least loosely connected to that universe.

Pennyworth is in 1969 based on a recent video where Jack Bannon (Alfred's actor) said he's 26 in the show; Alfred Pennyworth's canon birthday is in 1943. That could change, but this is 100% the 60s, so I went with it.

I'll explain the Gotham years later. I'm in the middle of something.

"twenty-something years before Gotham"

"twenty-something years before Gotham"

That and Mr Freeze's line in his debut episode where he says "Thursday, February 21st" - 1991 best fits that bill for Gotham's second year. Plus, the "Friday the 27th" (said in the Red Queen episode) fits September of that same year perfectly.

Stuff like the calendar on Thomas Wayne's computer aren't objective enough, since that could have just been messed with to cover his tracks. Especially since it doesn't match 1989's June calendar.
Don't get me started on the mess of newspaper dates or GCPD files with various years. A lot of people in Gotham City just have zero sense of time or just don't care lol.

Why are these seperated?

Theme song.

EDIT: But I think MCU Netflix shows didn't have to adhere to that in the timestamps, so fixed.

I can't find the Tweet at the moment, but Neil Gaiman seemingly confirmed that the Sandman TV series will have no connection to Lucifer (the show).

Expected, but unfortunate nonetheless.

Sandman is Neil Gaiman's most cherished work, I would assume. I feel like it is definitely something he wants a lot of control over. 100% control? I'm not sure. It's still a DC property, but we'll have to wait and see.

David Goyer's involvement as a producer makes me think he's going to throw in some ideas along with Gaiman, and Goyer seems like a go-to producer for DC and their live-action properties.

But who knows?

Random opinion (admist some dead air): I'd like to think Gotham is set on Supergirl's Earth (Earth-38). Gotham being the "darkness" of Supergirl's "light" world.
One timeless and (somewhat) 'grounded', one contemporary and 'fantastical'. Two parallels representing opposite symbols - fear and hope.

Obviously it can't be set on Earth-1 because of the different Nyssas and Cyrus Golds, Nora Fries being dead in Gotham, etc. Although, I think the idea of Gotham taking place in Earth-38's past would condense things slightly, since Supergirl's Earth already has its own Batman who we still know nothing about. Gotham (the show) could fill that hole, while Batwoman fills the hole of Earth-1's Batman story.

I have the same head-canon.

Wow. Clearly Batwoman is going to take some design influence from Gotham.

The first episode of Pennyworth is available on EPIX Now.

Also, posting this again due to the site mishap - Pennyworth is confirmed to be set in the same continuity as Gotham

Cannon revealed the series is essentially prequel to the Fox series Gotham. "I would say so, yes," Cannon said, contradicting the publicity materials that for months now have described Pennyworth as untethered to any existing Batman mythology.
