Re: JJ Abrams' "Cloverfield"
That reminds me, I want to see Dragon Wars.
That reminds me, I want to see Dragon Wars.
Why is it called Cloverfield?
I hate that I accidentally read a possible spoiler as to what the monster was on another site.
Even though it hasn't been confirmed as to whether it actually is the monster...I'll be disappointed if it is. Like Proj...I'm going into this virtually dark. I don't wanna know anything.
As far as what Abrams have said, none of the monster pics, or descriptions are NOT real. They're generally fan ideas.
Speaking of, this is the monster design I actually liked (no spoiler as this is NOT what the monster looks like).

That's the one I saw. Good to know that this isn't what it looks like. And kinda sad too, as I would've totally accepted that monster!
Ok...I'm back in the dark!
Yeah, I saw that design a couple of weeks ago and loved it. If it's fanwork, it's really good.
I was going to quote you guys, but I don't want to see the spoiler.
well, I'm happy that the art student that did that design got a job out of it.
I tried to watch it but the dragons kind of turned me off. Which I think was exactly what Ourchair was getting at.You mean "Reign of Fire" didn't?
"Who would win in a fight: the Cloverfield monster or Godzilla?"
You KNOW people are going to start asking that once the film is released.
(Personnally, I say Godzilla. He's got much more experience, and the Cloverfield monster seems like less of a straight-up fighter and more of a "duck between buildings and scare the crap out of people with my destroyed monuments and ominous roars" type.)
  :lol:So the Cloverfield monster is the "Batman" of this debate?
I think you just answered your own question.

And even though I've posted it before, I'll post it again, because I can.
