Deadpool knew who it was and almost told us, but, nooooooo, Cap had to smack DP with his shield before he could say anything.

I know!! That killed me.

Does anyone else feel they're doing a great job with the tie ins here? I read Cable/Deadpool, X-Men, X-Factor. They were all really good especially today since I read all my Civil War in one sitting.

The only problem I have with some of the tie-ins is figuring out WHEN they happen, and what I'm supposed to "know" or not know yet. Over on Newsarama, Brevoort says it's been three weeks since the Stamford thing, and on the recap page it says it's been a week since the SHRA passed - but it doesn't FEEL that way, everybody's tempers and emotions are running more raw than that, like no one has had time to sit down and think about things.

Did anyone get that Daily Bugle edition?

In the last pages is an editorial by She-Hulk in favor of registration which is probably the best argumentation yet shown from a Marvel Character on the topic.

I got the issue free from my LCS but didn't get thru reading all of it. Now I can't wait to get home and read the article.

Can I get the jist of it?

I'm kind of "meh" about Thor. The guy is a Norse god; what does he care about the law of one country? Why would he get involved?

I kinda agree. While I love to see Ares, Thor, Namor, etc...it does beg the question---why would kings and Gods care?

I forgot to mention the part where Johnny gets out of bed and finds that Sue isn't with him....

Where is she?

She's there at the battle on Spidey and Tony's side. She is showna couple times in the background.

The tie-ins are great. Some of the strongest ones I've read in a while. But the only problem is with what Rhyo said. Some titles reference something that hasn't happened yet in the main title. So Marvel, in some small way, are releasing info that could be considered "spoilers" unintentionally. Sometimes I hate reading the tie-ins for fear of them spoiling some small part of the story.

Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor are the 3 main avengers. When Thor disappeared, they were with him.

These are his two best friends beating the **** out of each other. I can see why he got involved.

The issue was pretty good. That movie Cap pulled was stonecold.

And I liked the Tony-Emma convo with Bishop at the end. Makes me want to read the X-men tie-in.

The art still is amazing. I think Thor's entrance was better than Hawkeye's. All the way. I'm not a big fan of Thor. But that was an entrance.

The series is going strongly. Even the most of tie-ins have been good. Better than House Of M.

McNiven's art during the Captain America/Iron Man fight was perfect.

Can't wait to see what Thor does.

I would like to see Thor and Sentry go toe to toe. Although I think Millar has intentions of making Hercules the main point to the first few pages next issue. Along with Thor. I think those two will go at it. Or maybe Thor will just let Cap and Iron Man keep duking it out.

I really hope Thor switches sides.. If only because Tony's team is hopelessly overpowered. I mean seriously, Cap needs some heavy hitters and he needs em fast.

Good issue, I really enjoyed Cap's trick on Tony. It shows how far he's willing to go for his beliefs, and how strongly he believes them.

Well cyclops is against registration so I think some of the xmen will join especially since it's obvious Bishop is pro-registration.

Thinking about it, who says that Thor is actually pro-registration? I know people are assuming that because he's with Tony, but, what if it's just that? He's just with Tony, as someone previously said, I believe, to end the fighting.

It's a possibility.

This issue was so sweet. Way better than #2 was.

Loved the scene in Wakanda and how Reed was characterized.

The way Dr. Strange is acting, you'd think he dropped a Torah or something.

The Emma/Tony scene was very well written.

I want to know what that guy at Westchester wanted with Tony, but I'm not reading CW: X-Men.

Cap, Hercules, and DD introduce themselves as if they were on Lingo.

Johnny's finally awake.

Hill must like those darts; she's used them on all the Anti-Reg supers. Wonder what would happen if you put one on their chairs.

Spider-Man seemed to be jumping the gun, huh?

Ben's dialogue while taking out Hulkling was funny.

It's Electro!! I - I mean Thor. I meant Thor.

5/5

I believe that guy at westchester was bishop. Who is anit-registration. nad by the looks of covers it's pretty obvious what he wants to talk to tony about.

The guy is Bishop. The mutant with the M on his face...

And you're wrong about him. Bishop is pro-registration. That's why he wante to talk to Tony.

I just read the X-Men Civil War tie-in and I have to say it makes NO sense - the fundamental premise the covers the presence of the Sentinels: "honest, we're keeping them herded together on a mutant reservation because, well, they are all just a little fragile right now..." makes even less sense than the case for keeping Guantanamo Bay prisoners in conditions not bound by the Geneva Conventions. 90+ % of mutants (the ones without their own books) just got depowered/died-off and so we have to keep an eye on the remaining ones because.... because....

Uhhhhh-huh.

Yeah, I know but I was thinking about cyclops as I was typing it.

And doesn't it feel as if the pro- and anti- forces used just a tiny fraction of the energy they are putting into fighting each other into rounding up villains instead, the Marvel U would be entirely supervillain-free?

when did this happen!?

and after reading the issue:

iron man has def. moved to villain.

hercules' emotion was spectacularrrrrr.

spider-man kicks all kinds of *****.

reed is such an idiot, it's funny.

daredevil is def. clint with dyed hair. they're making an alibi for daredevil so he can get out of jail... FREE!
