I would only go with no since most people I Know, at the very least, have no idea who he was. Nor was he posted here in the Celeb Deaths thread of all places.

There weird thing is, I checked 3 days ago to see if she was still alive and the article I found stated, "She is alive and well." I understand she had a stroke back in March. That's sad. I've really been watching the hell out of Roseanne and Golden Girls these past few months.

I loved American Splendor and really need to read more of his stuff.

His work is certainly not for everyone, but he was definitely a huge influence and an important figure in the comics world.

Oh yeah, important dude. He was, but I have simple tastes. Watchmen was the most thought provoking comic book I've ever read. Other than that you know me, it's all about Sgt. Rock, Captain America, Wolverine.... and yeah dudes like that.
