If there's any Metal fans out there, Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Owen Sullivan died on 28 Dec, 2009. He was my second favorite drummer and it was a damn shame he died so early.

I thought I heard that but didn't really bother looking up the validity of it.

Damn shame. I never heard of them before Bat Country but now they're own of my favorite metal groups.
 
yeah it was pretty disheartening. I was listening to them avidly for a year straight and The Rev was quickly becoming one of my favorite drummers. It also sucks because they were in the middle of their fifth studio album. I would hate to be in that type of position.
 
So sad, I just saw him on TMZ a couple of weeks ago. I was fliping through the channels and I saw him and Cory Feldmen coming out of a bar (I think). Haim Looked good, looked like he was really turning around and cleaning up his life.
