I got to meet him at Origins, he was the one of the sweetest and humble men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

You know how when a celeb dies they do a million tribute montages to them for a week afterwards? They should take this oppourtunity to do one while he's still alive and can watch it.
Also, why is the news than a famous actor is dying sick and undignifying for them?

Because it's obviously not something Patrick Swayze has announced. It's something that's been 'found out' (if true) and has the "countdown to death" connotations.
I don't think we have a right to this information, unless Swayze himself says we do. It is, by far, the most egregious invasion of privacy I've seen a celebrity have to date.
