Bryan Singer on Ultimate X-Men.

Well you really think they would want to reveal something like this? I don't think so. And honestly, I believe this. One reason is that how someone has mentioned that he isn't really writing the scripts to the arcs in Ultimate X-Men.

So hearing this, I say it's true. Wether or not Marvel comments on this, I say it's true.

Well, that's alright, I guess, he is decent at formulating plots, although, like I've said, obsure. He did bring some interesting things to the table and I would like to see what he's got planned for the comics, I just sure hope he proves me wrong with this stuff.

Also, is Oliver Coipel the artist for his arc for sure?

Probably. By the time the Longshot arc ends, it will be in February. Than in March a new arc beggins, where most likely Singers run on UXM will start, and Oliver's art on the book too.

I wonder if Vaughan is going to do anything after Longshot... I'm pretty sure that I heard that Singer wasn't coming on until the summer.

I think I read in Wizard that Singer was supposed to come in at the beginning of 2005, the first quarter. So I guess it's after Longshot!

Well, it appears we have conflicting stories, here. We'll definitely have to see what happens when the solicitations for February or march come out.

For March. Remember that the Longshot arc doesn't end until February.

(Part 1 of 3- Dec., Part 2 of 3- Jan., Part 3 of 3- Feb.)

Yeah that's right, but usually you can tell when there's going to be more than one issue in a month when it says it in the comic.

well, thats why im probably wrong: I dont remember the source. Ill check my latest Wizard mag, it may have been in there.

Longshot's four parts now. So Singer wouldn't be on until at least April. And in response to a post I saw earlier about Singer liking Stryker...David Hayter is the God Loves, Man Kills fan and incorporated that character. Singer doesn't know **** about X-Men.

You couldn't be more right, but you never know what he could do to a title as young and as outgoing as Ultimate X-Men. As long as he stays true to the characters that we have already and makes sure that there is continuity in his stories, I'm open to him, but those are some high expectations to fill, especially for him. We'll see, though, Vaughan may be on for a while.

I agree, but you know, we should all really be discussing Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris' run on UXM since, you know, they're the ones actually writing it. Although, I am willing to bet that with Superman and all, this run's just going to get cancelled.

Exactly.

Quesada claims that Singer has turned in scripts already.

I always kinda assumed Singer's run would just kinda fall apart what with all his film work and all. But that doesn't seem to be the case. According to Vaughan, starting with issue 66 we'll have UXM written by Singer, Dougherty, Harris AND Vaughan. The phrase "Too many cooks..." comes to mind.

"Too many cooks"? No way, I think that's great news! I mean, we're all aware that Dougherty and Harris were going to be writing during Singer's run - with Singer most likely having a sort of "director's" role in the storylines, so adding one more name isn't too much. Being that that other name is BKV is the best news, though, because, even if his writing role in Singer's run is restricted, he is most likely there to keep continuity straight. With him writing from #46 - 65, he's going to have the most know in UXM continuity and he even said that he's going to tie his last arc of his run into Millar's and Bendis' runs.
Just enough cooks, I say!
