Well, when they decide to come out with a Deadpool movie they'll probably bring all of his series' together to come out with an issue 100 for collectability... Something... You know how it goes.

A Deadpool movie???!! -- Oh... You were just being hypothetical...

Wasn't there one being planned or made?

They didn't jump ship. They left because the studio decided not to go through with Deadpool. They actually said that they were waiting on word about Deadpool before going with The Flash, and sadly, the execs canned it.

I bet the argument was:

"can't he have a LESS spider-man-like outfit?"

And:

"How can someone speak in Yellow?"

I'm still optimistic that Deadpool will make it to the Big Screen, they just need to get his comic book series going extra strong, to bring to the forefront with Avi Arad, and then he should be considored.

Let's stay on topic.

Hint: the topic is not a Deadpool movie

Bendis equated Ultimate Deadpool to Vince Vaughn. Does anyone think this is a good thing? Bad thing?

Personally, I don't get how you can write Vince Vaughn's humor into anything. He's such a vocal comedian and, he's very funny, but it's not what he says - it's how he says it. Personally, I'm on the fence about this, not because I don't think Bendis'll write a horrible Deadpool, he'll just try and make him funny when he won't come off as remotely humorous. I know a lot of you may think that would ruin the character, but I won't say that just yet. It might, though. ;)

Are you writing in English?

OMGROTFL!!!!!!!11111oneoneoneone

What I was saying is that of all of the Deadpool quotes and comic panels I've read that are supposed to be so funny, I found none of them funny. At all. Smartass and sarcastic, yes, but that doesn't make him funny, revolutionary, or particularly interesting.

If Bendis wrote him like Vince Vaughan it would be a major improvement on the character.

I think turning him into a Vince Vaughn isn't drasticly changing the character I think it'll be more like evolutionizing him. He'll still be sarcastic funny just to a higher more likeable degree (to nonfans). I think it's a very good thing.

Ultimate E, you are a poor, sad, little man.

Nah, you're just too easily amused.

I used to read the Deadpool series a couple years ago and I remember laughing out loud a few times. That's pretty funny when something that you are reading makes you laugh. But you know what they say, different strokes... and all that.

....sad little man.

He is sad. Y'know why? It's 'cause he doesn't have Deadpool in his life like we do... He's jealous.

That's only if Bendis can accurately depict Vince Vaughn through Deadpool.
