So, it's been announced a multiplayer mode is being developed by a separate studio.

It's a 3 on 3 on 2 mode. The teams of 3 play Joker's gang vs. Bane's gang in a third person shooter mode where they try to whittle down the respawns of the other team and hold command points. Once per game, the team in the lead will spawn Joker or Bane and the first player to get to a chosen location gets to play as them.

The team of two is Batman and Robin, trying to fill up a bar that rises when they coordinate their attacks and use varied takedowns, but plummets when they're taken down by thugs.

Done right, it could be a surprisingly fun multiplayer suite like Assassin's Creed. Guess we'll see.

That's interesting. I'm usually not one for Multi-Player but this sounds like a lot of fun.
 
Multiplayer is NOT coming to WiiU version. :( I'l end up getting ps3 version now then next year in sales get WiiU version.

Also, I much prefer this Batman character model/

So... We have Deathstroke, Deadshot, Copperhead, Firefly, Bane. That's five of eight. Is Joker being billed as one of the assassins?

Any thoughts on who else you'd like to see? I think Cheshire could be a lot of fun, and some representation from the League of Assassins seems a given.

I've also heard that Joker is one of the 8. I think it would be cool if one of them was a talon or The Phantasm from Mask of the Phantasm, but both are unlikely.

Well, you might be in luck Houde. I just saw what might be the achievement list for this game and "defeat Lady Shiva" is one of them. If the list is real, she'll be in the game.

Apparently the soundtrack track listings have been released and one is entitled "Killer Croc" and another, "The Thieving Magpie"

Magpie is a member of Penguins gang from a while back, but the track may be a reference to an opera, not her. But either way, Killer Croc seems to be confirmned as a character.
