@UltimateWhovian7 why the arkham city digital chapter #2-3 are set in february and september respectively?
I've gone back to my notes. I made this timeline YEARS ago so I don't actually know, I think it was just an estimate or just to fill spaces. I've noted that Chapter 3 is 3 months prior to Arkham City, but I foolishly did not cite it.

I'd say this is just my random attribution until I can find something more accurate.

I kinda want it to flop, because I feel if this will be successful, many other companies would try to make very specific VR titles of their mainline games. I'm still sore that I will probably never be able to play this myself.

Tbh, this already happened with Half-Life Alyx
And I did not like that either. I only give Valve a pass because they only ever release new games if they do something innovative. I think they did a good job at that. Not to mention Alyx was available at least on Steam and could be used with many types of VR sets (and even had mod support, of which thanks to, you can now play through Half Life: Alyx completely without a VR headset, albeit with VERY limited functionality), while Arkham Shadow requires a completely niche headset (only supported by 2, both of them a META product), on a niche platform (META store).

I never liked exclusivity in any shape or form. This marketing strategy is disgusting to me, because it essentially makes me pay hundreds of dollars for a single product, not to mention I would hardly ever use VR for anything else. I only want it to flop because I don't want this to become a standard in the future, it can go dangerously sideways on the expense of the consumer.

As for now It Is being loved by critics and fans, i don't know about Sales tho.

Anyway, they'll continue to make new VR Games thanks to Alyx, not to Shadows.

So it's useless to Hope It to flop. If It succeed or fail won't change nothing.

Still haven't gave SS a look in yet but does it at all canonise any of the choices in Arkham knight like with Ras or Azrael

IDK if anyone said it but Arkham City End Game comic was seemingly referenced in the Harley Quinn DLC, where if you talk to Gordon at the beginning of the game, he says they will deal with that other problem or smth, the other problem being likely Joker's corpse plot from the End Game comic. IMO many of the older comics are 100% canon. Many were even written or co-written by Paul Dini.

I totally agree, down to the unhinged line.

Since it's obvious that Batman is still alive at this stage, it might be better to place Batman vol. 3 #135 post-SSKTJL. It does seem like he's in a darker place during his cameo (leading to it being pre-Justice League), but Joker is still seemingly dead in SSKTJL. At least, people think he is. I suppose it's possible he's alive and no one knows, or was alive before dying again lol.

Maybe, but probably best to wait until whenever the final DLC for SSKTJL drops so we know what's up... even if ain't nobody be playing that dogshit game at this point, lol.
