Batman: Arkham Asylum

Man, I want this game, but I don't have a PS3 or 360 and I don't think a single game warrants buying one.

I keep watching spoiler vids on Youtube and being amazed. The final
Scarecrow dream sequence
is insane.

Darn it.

As I've said to Venom and I think TOG, this is hands down one of the greatest games, ever. And THE best Batman game, ever.

The scarecrow nightmare worlds are awesome....But since when does he have Freddy Kruger like powers?

I have to wait 2 days.:cry: I want it now!

Sweet. I will be checking this out tonight. I left off last night right before the scarecrow.

Cool beans,

you deal with Scarecrow more than once,
I'm currently on my third, and most disturbing encounter.

Anybody else disappointed by Joker's overall scheme? Y'know,
make a bunch of monsters and have them attack Gotham.

I mean, the game is amazing and awesome and Bat-perfect and everything, but Joker's whole scheme just seemed so...pedestrian. Maybe I just don't know the character well enough, or something.

Kinda sorta, but that's Dini's MO with the Joker. It's pretty much one zany scheme after another. He (Dini) seems to have a great grip with the mythos and with Batman himself, but his Joker seems to lean too much towards cartoonish capers.
