Avatar: The Last Air Bender (Spoilers!)

This episode was cool.

Not the best but IMO not the weakest either, the weakest episode was the one that revolved around Appa (I really hate that episode , I re-watched season 1+2 just before 3 started and just skipped that episode as i think that one sucked)

I liked it more though as it was full Zuko and he's just cool.

Meh. Definitely the weakest. Too goofy. Humanize and demistify the villains too much like that and you diffuse their menace. It wasn't even nearly as funny as some of the other episodes. And at the credits, surprise, surprise, it was a different writer than usual.

This episode was okay, but some of the dialogue was corny/cheesy. The biggest question it raised for me was why didn't the Fire Nation hire the tattooed dude before? He could have torn through most armies like a tank through tissue paper, or blasted down the walls of Ba Sing Se with a few shots.

He must have some kind of hidden weakness that the kids don't know about yet. Either that, or there is a limit to his power. Either way, we really don't know anything about him - all we've seen so far is that he's a wicked awesome fighter.

I wouldn't say it was the weakest episode, but it was definitely different. The mercenary is badass and Zuko is sad.

I just want to see Aang and the rest break Iroh out of prison.

Damn it, I always forget to watch this and now with tv links gone I cant get it

I normally just google "Avatar 3x05 online" or whatever and usually get a site which has it uploaded.

For some reason, UK schedules say that 2 new episodes are appearing per day.

So, those of you in the UK...have fun. Everyone else has to wait until Friday for new episodes.
Or just wait for it to go on Youtube. Either way.

That was a great episode! I love the foreshadowing.

"Sokka just hold hands."
I loved how the history connected nicely with everything else. Awesome.

Seriously, best episode this season, and possibly (at the moment) best episode of the entire series.

The ending was funny, too. Especially that quick woosh when Sokka went to hold hands.

Was that the new guy doing Iroh's voice? If so, he did a darn good job. I could barely hear the difference.

Anyway, it was a great episode. I'd hesitate to say it's the best in the series (I'm sort of partial to either "The Chase." "City of Walls and Secrets," or "Tales of Ba Sing Se"), but definitely the best of the season so far.

This. was. awesome.

The shot of Roku spewing out all four elements in different directions. The whole volcano sequence. The personal history from two different perspectives.

The guy doing Iroh's voice is Mako's former apprentice

'Splain.

Those were great episodes, but they definetly didn't have as much impact as this one did.

Now we know the avatar didn't "disappear" and what really happened was like WHOA.

And then being the other grandfather?! DOUBLE WHOA. WHOA.
