Avatar: The Last Air Bender (Spoilers!)

Who are you?
We've done this dance before. You say "Who are you?" I say, "Didn't your mom talk to you about this. I'm your new Daddy?" Everyone has a good chuckle and you get those old hopes of having someone to teach you how to throw a ball and talk to girls reignited. Then you call your mother, learn that I'm not really your new Daddy and your hopes are dashed. You cry yourself to sleep at night and I laugh at your misery.

Why put yourself through it?

I know how to talk to balls and throw girls.

So I just saw all the leaked episodes, up to the nineth one, no I have to wait until like November 26th or something for a new one... damn it.

Bloodbending was a logical extension of the powers, but my problem lies with this.

Blood also has iron, does this mean Earthbenders can blood bend too?

Possibly, but I doubt that any could have the skill for it. As far as we know Toph is the only one who can bend metal, and even then she's not very precise at it.

Okay, but even then, can't you say that the electrical neurons that run trough the body send out flames, and Firebenders could control those.

Stretch yes, but where does the power stop? How powerful can you make these benders?

All I'm saying is that while blood bending is a cool idea, where exactly do you draw the line between coolness and overpowered?

I doubt it, only because that is in "relation" to Magneto and iron in the blood.

Magneto can't just go to anyone and mess with the iron in their systems. Why? Because there isn't enough to do anything with, which why in X2 Mystique had to pump that guard with a crap load of iron into his body.

So it'd be the same with earthbenders. There isn't much for them to bend and therefor can't really do anything.

Okay. And I do realize that she can only blood bend during full moons. I just don't want them to gain dues ex machina like bending powers and all.

That brings up another question: Can Ang still use the Avatar State? I mean he was technically killed while in it.

I bet he will.

But that won't come up until the fight with the Fire Lord.

I think so too, though I think they implied he doesn't have it, maybe he'll get something better in place, who knows

I just saw the invasion

Good stuff, while predictable, but a few things surprised me.

First off was what Zuko learned. That was an interesting tidbit. Considering I have never seen the entirety of the second season, I'm going to rewatch it and see we have been introduced to that person before.

The other thing that intrigued me is the ending. I didn't expect them to have such a large group now.

I suspect that at the Western Air Temple, they'll come up with a new strategy that will result in them splitting up to accomplish different tasks in different areas. It's possible that the original four might even be split up.
