Ok I just got hit by spyware and viruses. I'm removing them but one of them has made it so when I press ctrl + alt + delete it comes up "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator" How do I change the settings back to what they were? I don't know if it's effected anything else

Thanks but I manged to fix it with Spybot search & destroy but I had way to many viruses at once off 1 site. so in the end I said **** it and did a system restore

Does anyone know of any good optical character recognition software, or basically any program that can quickly convert images into text?

I'm supposed to paraphrase a large 10 page article down into 3 pages, but it's a pain when I'm juggling between the JPEG viewer and Microsoft Word.

Well I've been attacked. I now have something called "AntiSpywareXP2009" which, you guessed it, spyware. I've tried using the life hacker thanksgiving package my roommate told me about and I'm trying to use the Spybot Search and destroy, but it won't let me check for problems without a detection update, and it won't let me update giving me error #10061. And the spyware seems to know my every move. I think it's become sentient... :shifty:

Also a bunch of my programs aren't working, with the .exe files missing

Also, if it's my Start Page, how come I never see it? Oh wait, I see now it's set to start up on Internet Explorer. Which like, I never use, because I'm a Firefox loving Communist.
